Close to the beaches, our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, With the Wind, is your personal retreat. Walk to baseball games or downtown for an ice cream cone. Walk to shopping and restaurants. Enjoy the bike trails and ride your bike to the beach. Spend your summer vacation with your family or friends on the Cape. With The Wind is your home away from home. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday with some exceptions.

This is a very well maintained and well appointed house in a perfect location to enjoy Cape Cod. 5 minutes one way to the ocean, 5 minutes the other way to the bay. We were most interested in the Outer Cape sites, but it was also perfect for a day trip to Nantucket. Our Host was very responsive in answering questions and recommending sites and restaurants. For bikers, the house is 1/4 mile from the delightful 25 mile hard top Cape Cod Rail Trail. We would go back to this house in a heartbeat if it wasn't 1,000 miles from our home in the Western NC mountains.

Clean, spacious, great location

The house had plenty of room for our family to spread out. It was very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Loved the outdoor shower and spent lots of time on the deck! Great Orleans location. Sue was a super-responsive host as well. Great for a family!

Very nice summer rental

This is a very nice summer rental in a great location. The house was comfortable and well equipped for a summer getaway. Easy access to rts. 6, 6A, Orleans center and both Nauset and Skaket beaches.

Lovely home

The home was clean and comfortable--had everything we needed in a very nice neighborhood. Orleans is a great town and this house was conveniently located close to everything. The owner was very gracious and helpful--she offered many suggestions for places to go we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We had a great time!

clean and perfect for single family

We enjoyed our stay in Orleans. The house was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The property manager was great at responding to any emails. The house was located close to town and to The Rails to Trails. We rented bikes, and it was perfect to get around Orleans.

Great house!

The house is very spacious and in a great location, close to CCRT, Nauset beach, grocery store and many other things. The neighborhood is very quiet but at the same time close to the main road and route 6. The air conditioning is great, with a mini split in every room and even in the basement, where there are 2 additional beds and a full bathroom. The Wi-Fi works very well and there’s a big TV with access to all the main streaming services. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Susan was a great host, she was easy to communicate with and very responsive when needed. Overall we had a great stay.

Awesome house. Great location......but...

We had a great time in this extremely clean home, it truly was a home away from home well suited for a big family. The location was great, just miles from the Nauset beach and close to everything you need on a vacation like clean linens and well stocked kitchen. The host let us check-in early and shared details about places to see, eat, wi-fi etc. which made our stay very comfortable. One word of CAUTION – please check everything in the house as soon as you rent it. I was charged extra for a broken closet door which was broken before we moved in – the only regretful part of my otherwise awesome trip.

I am happy you enjoyed your stay. However, I am puzzled as to why you never mentioned the door. Once in the house and having noticed the door, you should have informed me. As you mentioned I allowed you early access to the house and when I left the premises that morning I can assure you there was no broken door. We were in constant contact throughout your stay and you never mentioned a broken door. Why now on a public forum do you decide to bring this up?? The door is visible as you first enter the house and in the four days you were there I never received a text, call, or email. I am sorry you feel you were slighted but the $50.00 I withheld from your security deposit was hardly enough to "fix" the door.

Nice house, nice location.

My family and I had a wonderful week in Sue's house. Located on a quiet street but close to town, the house was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Sue is a wonderful host as well--kind, accommodating, and very easy to communicate with. We've been to the Cape many times over the years, but this is the first time we stayed in Orleans, and we really enjoyed it for a change. Whenever we next return, we hope to stay at Sue's place again.

Fun time on the Cape

We really liked our time on the Cape. This home is in a great location - we rode bikes to the Rail Trail, walked to the Firebirds game, went often to the nearby grocery and seafood market and went to the beach many, many times. Susan was really responsive and checked in several times during the week.
