Nous avons un Hale incroyable pour votre escapade paradisiaque. Cette escapade tropicale propre et pittoresque est l'endroit idéal pour explorer le côté est d'Hawaï. Que vous aimiez la randonnée, l'exploration des volcans, les chutes d'eau, la plongée en apnée, le kayak ou tout ce que vous aimez, ce Hale est l'endroit idéal pour rentrer à la maison pour se détendre, faire un barbecue et se détendre après une journée d'exploration de tout ce que la grande île a à offrir. Nous offrons une cuisine complète, barbecue, laveuse sécheuse, 1 chambre King, 1 chambre Queen, 1 salle de bain complète avec un demi-bain dans la buanderie dans le carport. Nous avons installé une nouvelle douche extérieure pour votre plaisir. La propriété se trouve sur près d'un 1/4 d'acre de plantes tropicales, de palmiers, d'avocats et de bananes. La maison est en retrait de la rue. Il est à seulement 7 pâtés de maisons de l'océan environ. 1/4 mile. Explorez la ville de Pahoa avec de très bons restaurants, un marché fermier tous les dimanches, une épicerie Malama et une station-service à seulement 6 miles. Nous avons un séjour minimum de 3 nuits, un séjour maximum de 14 jours.

Notre région est très pittoresque, tropicale, vieille Hawaï traditionnelle. N'attendez pas Waikiki ou même Kailua-Kona. Il y a de belles promenades aux plages de Black Sands, des vêtements en option à la plage de Kahena et à l'oncle Roberts du mercredi soir.

Hilo a de nombreux bons restaurants. La plage de Richardson à Hilo est idéale pour la plongée en apnée et la plage Onekahakaha est idéale pour les familles, y compris les jeunes enfants. L'île de noix de coco est à voir absolument. Ce côté de l'île a des paysages magnifiques et des gens sympathiques avec l'esprit Aloha!

Great place to explore Big Island Beauty

We stayed three nights while exploring the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea and the Waterfalls. The house had everything we needed , the beds were comfortable and the outdoor space and the Lanai are absolutely gorgeous!

Quiet getaway on the Big Island

Great location in Puna

The cottage was a great home base for our stay on the Hilo side. The park is a beautiful spot for sunset and wave watching. We really appreciated the outdoor shower and extra bathroom with laundry. Pahoa is fairly close for getting supplies. Would recommend.

if you are looking for a quiet place to relax after a busy day of exploring the east coast of the Big Island, this is it. it was so peaceful the house was lovely and exactly as described ...the lanai was a great place to unwind jerry was awesome and answered my messages in a matter of minutes bring earplugs if you think that the sound of the coquis and roosters will bother you I found it relaxing 🤪 will recommand this place 100%

Absolutely Amazing Place

We found the house to be very clean and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We spent our mornings and evenings on the lanai listening to the sounds of nature. The carport was protecting us from rain when we got in/off the car. The addition of A/C to each room was a big plus. We loved everything about this place and definitely would like to return back in the future :)

Great Location

We have been to the Pahoa area before and this house is conveniently located close to town, area shopping and restaurants. The setting is decidedly "rainforest" which makes for a very relaxed setting. The front porch is nice for sitting outside either during the day or evening. Jerry the owner is very easy to work with and the house is completely as described. I know some reviews have noted sounds from frogs and chickens. We really had no problem with this and it adds to the charm of the area. We would definitely go back on a future trip.

Peaceful and perfect

We were incredibly happy with this home. It had everything we needed. Loved having air conditioning. It was clean. Beds were very comfortable. We personally loved tge sounds of the frogs. And we did not have any issues as some stated with roosters but the host has ear plugs in bathroom. We howrver did not need them. Slept wonderful. Will definately stay here again when we come back.

Hawaii Life

The cottage is located in a residential area and within a jungle like landscape. The frog noise (sounded like a bird chirping) never bothered us. The house is fully airconditioned, so no windows need to be opened. Everything is "as was pictured' and described. Very convenient to a shopping area with a very nice market. Immediate response to our two questions. Property is 35mins from Hilo except during rush hour - it can take an hour. During your stay, make sure you take a drive along the "Military Road", a rainforest along a beautiful coastline. Convenient to visit Volcano National park. Parking is covered and on a concrete slab. Neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and family oriented. This place is a Gem.

Very quiet, clean location and great communication with owner.

We spent the bulk of our stay on the Big Island here. Jerry provided very detailed check in instructions and was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Place was very clean which is a big deal for me. Internet is strong which kept the teenagers quiet - always a plus. The Roku allowed my wife and I catch up on shows from the 90's when the day was done. The location, house and communication with Jerry was top notch. Can't recommend the place enough. Also, a nice lookout point at the end of the road, a mile or two away. Definitely worth a return now that I know about Kohala Coffee and Malama Market in Pahoa. That said, it was a little farther out than I expected - but that's more on me not translating distance into drive times. Where I live 100 km (60 miles) equals an hour. Not so in Hawaii. That's not a criticism but it does highlight the need to adjust the internal metrics you may have when you think about driveling around the Islands. Traffic to and from Hilo can be a bit of a bear. But then again, that seemed to be anywhere on the island from what we saw.

The house was perfectly prepared for guests. The host had thought of all the little things that people sometimes forget. Home was neat, clean, and comfortable and in a nice quiet street. Convenient location to Volcano National Park and Hilo.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The ocean is about a half a mile walk down the road. Hilo is about a 30 minute drive. It was nice to have air condition in each of the bedrooms and of course the living room. The front porch was so nice. We had breakfast on the front porch in the morning and it was wonderful to listen to the birds and the breeze. This is a very cozy house. We stayed three nights on the Hilo side and then went to the Kona side. On the Hilo side we went to Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, and took a beautiful nature trail hike on Saddle Road, we went to several beaches closer to Hilo, and then we went to the Volcano National Park on our way over to the Kona side. We had a great stay in this home. And it is very well stocked. Thank you, Jerry.

Puna Getaway

This is a well-kept spacious place in a lush quiet subdivision--well, quiet in a traffic and safety sense but full of chickens and coqui frogs so not exactly QUIET. But those sounds didn't bother us at all and we never felt like we needed to use the earplugs that were thoughtfully provided by the host. Fully equipped kitchen, one indoor bathroom and one garage/outdoor bathroom, access to washer and dryer. Plentiful towels, bedding, board games, dishes, and even beach equipment. The host provided a great binder full of recommendations, area history and dining menus. We visited in June and the heat was stifling indoors when we arrived but with windows open and fans running it was comfortable. We had a small glitch checking in but messaged the host and he got back to us right away to solve the problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome and at ease there. We would stay there again if in the area.
