Thanks for the return trip! We LOVE our repeat guests! That's too bad about the beach and water. It's normally amongst the most pristine in the area. The county clears the beach regularly, but periodic rainstorms can churn things up (incl coastal trash from those pesky litter bug types, sadly).

We’re sorry this guest felt this way, but the public review leaves out some very important facts. At no point during the stay did the guest contact us to report cleanliness concerns, cigarette odor, sand in the beds, or any other issue. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have addressed a legitimate concern promptly. The issue was never the ability to reach us. Instead, after completing their stay without reporting these concerns, the guest remained in the home approximately three hours past checkout and only raised these allegations afterward while seeking a refund. We take cleanliness and guest concerns seriously, which is precisely why we ask guests to contact us during their stay so we can investigate and make things right when something is genuinely wrong. We cannot correct an issue we are never told about and assume most of this, if not all, was fabicated. To put it another way: it’s a little like eating an entire meal at a restaurant while the server checks on you, saying everything is fine, then finishing the meal, walking out with the silverware, and afterward demanding a refund because the meal wasn’t satisfactory. That’s not an opportunity to resolve a problem. That’s an attempt to rewrite the experience after the fact. We stand behind our housekeeping team and the condition of our home at the time of this stay, and we believe future guests deserve the full picture rather than only one side of the story.

We checked the TV in the main floor bedroom, as well as the other 3 in fact, and all are working and streaming as intended. Our field hospitality team actually confirms all TVs are functioning on arrival day. Perhaps you had the wrong input? Appreciate you taking the time to write such a detailed review and glad you enjoyed your stay! We agree, it is a beautiful beach. :) Don't know when you were last in the area, but the access at the end of Buccaneer got closed off by the storms. Interestingly, a new access point was formed in that same storm. Now, there is access from 2 spots on the next street over. The Guest Guide in the home has an aerial image of the island with access point identified, so guests don't accidentally trespass on private property. Thanks for your suggestion on additional kitchen items. Will share accordingly. As for the beach towels, we suggest you bring on the inventory list we provide before your stay. Far too many towels got legs and walked away or were damaged from prior guests.
