Considering the limited amount of time they spent at the house due to their long work hours, we were appalled & disappointed at the condition in which our property was left after their visit. Since they work in the construction trade, we'd expected that they would appreciate & respect the craftsmanship and artistry of our home. Sadly, they left an enormous amount of damage & debris in their wake, including wet towels soaking on handmade furniture, tidbits of food & garbage on the entire property inside & out, grease marks on the walls, floors, furnishings, & bedding; several items missing or broken; & the clothes dryer choked with lint. Hosts work hard to provide a clean, comfortable place for our guests. We would suggest that they consider a standard hotel the next time they travel.
We were a little concerned about renting an older house, but it turned out to be great! It had both charm and modern amenities. The beds were very comfortable. We will be renting here again when in the area.
