Secluded garden in a typical Southern Italy's house in villa-Fireplace&freeWiFi

Liv and her partner were very unpleasant. They booked and kept my house occupied from mid-October 2022 for the 4 days from Tuesday to Saturday before Easter 2023. When they arrived they seemed annoyed and bored: half an hour after I had handed over the house they left warning me with a message (I live in the same building) giving surreal and offensive reasons ("a converted garage", on the other hand, it is a basement open-space basement house and it is luxuriously finished with all top level accessories). I think they had already decided to change plans but they didn't have the manners to explain their reasons in person, claiming that the house didn't satisfy them in order to get a refund: really not very polite! About parking it's really easy and safe to park outside the house or yard, the photos show the whole outside area so I don't understand their surprise! Anyway the othes reviews are really different from theirs! Liv ed il suo partner sono stati davvero sgradevoli. Quando sono arrivati sono parsi infastiditi e annoiati: dopo mezz’ora che avevo consegnato la casa sono andati via avvertendomi con un messaggio (io vivo nello stesso edificio) adducendo motivazioni surreali e offensive (“un garage adattato”, invece, è una tavernetta lussuosamente rifinita e con tutti gli accessori di livello top). Credo che avessero già deciso di cambiare i programmi ma non hanno avuto l'educazione di spiegare le loro ragioni di persona accampando che la casa non li soddisfaceva per avere il rimborso: davvero poco educati! In merito al parcheggio è davvero facile e sicuro parcheggiare fuori dalla casa o dal cortile, le foto mostrano per intero l'area esterna quindi non comprendo la loro sorpresa!

Dear Hilary, I thank you and your husband very much for your great appreciation! I really love when guests are able to enjoy the ambiance that I designed for them also because I always try to improve it also with little details… I know you appreciated too much the “Lovely ‘breakfast bar’-great to eat close to cooking”, “Great security with gate and shutters”, the fresh inside “Very cool when coming in from heat outside-wonderful!” and the Welcome pack too that I like to prepare for my guest to give them a warm welcome with our local products to make soon feel them like at home! Basilicata region is dotted of hill villages because the ancient people tried their defence from strangers on the mountains so you have travel a little bit to reach them. For your next visit I would invite to see the nearby PIGNOLA, CANCELLARA, BRINDISI DI MONTAGNA, MURO LUCANO, the ghost town of OLD CAMPOMAGGIORE (with beautiful summer show) and ROMAGNANO AL MONTE (at the border with Campania), CASTELAGOPESOLE, BRIENZA....... 20-40 mins driving from Potenza. Anyway I wouldn’t miss Venosa, Matera, Tursi….also if 1 hour and more driving! Moreover the beautiful province of Matera (without taking anything away from the province of Potenza) is really warm in spring and summer (as you tasted!) and the cool of the evening in Potenza (and generally the mountain weather) is incomparable and …without mosquitos!! I saw the fantastic pictures of your husband and I would publish them next on my personal website! I am really happy to met you and I hope to see you again to discover the magic places ….. around the corner!

È stato un piacere ospitarvi e farvi godere appieno della casa e del giardino circondati dal verde della nostra terra ma nello stesso tempo vicinissimi alle comodità della città, con bar, supermarket e ristorante raggiungibili a piedi. Tornate quando volete!

Thank you! The house is at the edge of city close to the countryside but very close to the shops (5 mins by foot!) so enjoy it.....

Cara Valeria mi fa piacere sapere che hai un bel ricordo di questo posto! La casa è esposta ad ovest quindi risulta meno illuminata di mattina, anche perchè è a piano terra, ma è luminosissima da mezzogiorno in poi perchè nei pomeriggi in particolare d'estate il sole vi batte direttamente. Il giardino e le sue dimensioni sono tipiche di una casetta a schiera di una cittá italiana sebbene la zona gode della campagna circostante...non è ovviamente paragonabile alle distese della tua bellissima Argentina. È stato un piacere conoscervi e spero di rivedervi ancora!

The Turks Parade takes place for celebrating the Potenza's Saint Patron day every 29th May by an historical procession but nearby (20-60 minutes far) you can partecipate in many events every season...just ask! The apartment was beautiful and lovingly decorated, everything was available, we were provided with everything. Liana greeted us in a very kind way, she explained us everything and told us a lot of interesting things about Potenza and Matera. We had received some info for trips before the trip, but on site at the house on our disposal) there was still more including brochures, maps, etc. We thanks Liana and her family for a great time in a beautiful apartment. For this reason we like leave toys and the swing outdoors because also little guests could enjoy our holiday home! It is a pleasure give informations, touristics too, because the guests can spent their holiday living as a local and also discovering the beauty of our land not so known! Moreover from here is easy to reach the very famous cities as the ancient Pompei (1h 30 mins away), the Amalfi coasts, Naples in Campania or other villages and town in Apulia.
