The cottage felt very homey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have 1suggestion though, a couple it TV trays would be a nice addition.

Wonderful

My wife and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary here and it was the perfect place to stay. The host responded to messages in less than an hour and was very accommodating. The location was great and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were very happy with our decision to stay in this cottage!

Comfortable cozy place. Nice location for walking. Be sure to read that you need to bring your own linens. Easy parking. Very nice deck. Quiet.

Great Location

This cottage was in a great location - quiet neighborhood, close to the beach, point/jetty, and river estuary. There were many very good eating places within walking distance. The only downfall was traveling long distance to Maine with a 3-week itinerary and having to provide our own sheets and towels for this cottage stay.

Relaxing stay

The cottage was clean. Only a short walk to the beach and several restaurants. A short drive to Old Orchard Beach and Portland too. The neighborhood was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back, if we have the chance someday.

Comfy for 2 people

Stayed 5 nights off season. Quick walk to beach. Nice neighborhood and quick drive to many scenic areas. - Portland lighthouse- Botanical Gardens-Trolls- fishing- Old Orchard Beach pier nearby. A quiet few days to explore and hike and eat fresh lobsters and breathe fresh air and regroup.

Mini Honeymoon

We stayed there so we could get married on the beach and have a mini honeymoon. It was exactly what we wanted. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. It was great to simply walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice propriété. Ideal for two people and a dog. The area is very quiet. The access to the beach is very close. Sea food in the nearby restaurants are very expensive.

Lovely Little Cottage

This was a perfect place to come and enjoy our favorite beach. I brought my old dog so she could enjoy her puppyhood stomping grounds. She was delighted with the beach and comfortable at her home away from home. The space is cozy and easy to manage. I enjoyed meeting the neighbors and walking to the beach, to eat, and around the neighborhood. I'll be back!

Sea Smoke Cottage Review

Overall, this is a very nice place to stay for one or two people, possibly with a young child or small pets. The neighborhood has much to offer but lacks sidewalks, so walking is somewhat unsafe. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Definitely would consider coming back.

Love Pine Point

Nice spot for a summer vacation for two. Pine Point is a lovely area away from the noise and chaos of Old Orchard Beach. Not a big place, but all we needed.

A Perfect Little Cottage

Sea Smoke Cottage was a glorious little respite from our daily busy lives. Yes, it is a bit rustic and small, but for the two of us, we didn’t need anything more! The living room and bedroom have been updated from what is in the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet and well-kept. The location was perfect, just a few minute walk from the beach and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Short drive to Portland or Old Orchard Beach (or take the trolley!). The bed was so comfortable that we both slept the best we have in a long time. The only negative I can say is that the bathroom is small, but for most people it would be fine. I am 6’8”, weight two hundred “too much,” and occupy a ton of space, so this “issue” is entirely my fault. 😂 We hated to leave, but alas, retirement hasn’t quite come yet. We hope to return to Pine Point again in the future and this will be our choice for accommodations.

Quaint little cottage with all the amenities and a short walk to the beach every morning…delightful!

Deb and Theresa were available and supportive…they have prepared for my visit very well…..they are both well versed in the hospitality side of renting! Loved my stay!

Absolutely perfect & cozy cottage!

Everything was more than we could have hoped for and the cottage was so comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect and quiet, yet easy to get to anything we wanted with the beach right around the corner. We hope to be back again as soon as possible it was the best stay ever!

Perfect !

The cottage was perfect for us, a retired couple with a dog. Cozy, comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed the fireplace on a chilly morning. Highly recommend for a stay at the beach.
