Beautiful views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was really great. The beds were comfortable, location and views were excellent. We enjoyed the beach everyday and even when we left the beach, the balcony made us feel like we were still at the beach. The only negative is the property manager. She was completely inflexible and treated us with contempt, even on the phone when we made reservations.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with management was disappointing. We always want every guest interaction to be positive and professional. In regard to one area of misunderstanding, there was a last-minute reservation in the unit the night prior to your arrival, so the condo needed to be fully cleaned, inspected, and have a few maintenance items addressed before it was ready. We understand how that may have caused frustration, especially when travel plans are involved. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both communication and guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

We had a wonderful time!! The property, pool, beach were all so clean! Everything was so convenient! The unit was beautiful, spacious clean. Huge balcony to enjoy the ocean front views!! One of the best overall stays we have ever had!!

Beach get away 2018

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I are repeat customers to Fort Walton Beach. We always stay at the Nautilus condominiums. Our vacation this year was fabulous as always and very much needed. We stayed in 1601, ocean front with rap around balcony. The Condo is updated through out except the bathrooms . Towels were ripped and stained on some of them. Should be replaced. House keeping didn’t clean the condo completely( which is the only time this has happened in all our stays). The bathroom in the master had dirty sinks with makeup on the cabinets. The kitchen sink and countertop needed cleaned. The floors had a lot sand on them. We still loved our stay but disappointed in the cleaning . I think the screen doors need replaced as well.

Hi Deborah I just want to tell you that I am sorry this happen.We have been trying to inspect all units before guest check in and this unit was missed. I want you to know that we are trying to make sure all of our guest have a great time and everything in unit is clean. Please the next time you come in if there is anything wrong in the unit call me or come down to the office and I will make sure we take care of it the same day. I know sorry doesn't help now but I really hate that we dropped the ball on this one. When you book again please know that I will take care of you to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay at Nautilus, but each stay was in a different unit. We love the larger end units like this one that gives you spectacular views of the sunrise and had plenty of furniture on the balcony that we used daily. Although we eat out most of the time, this kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need.There were some minor things that need repaired, but I left a list with Nautilus so that these problems could be addressed. We will always eat once if not twice at Stewby's and we really enjoyed Lost Pizza. They have live music starting at 6:30 on Monday nights.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If it wasn't for the balcony & view this would have been a bad unit to rent. It's really worn, furniture (especially sofa) is old & some is torn. You have to put pillows under the head on the sofa because it's lower than the foot. Screen door in loving room didn't slide & in bedrooms you really had to work to get them open/closed. It's in need of renovations. Honestly, I felt it was overpriced & did not live up to the pictures. This was our 3rd time @ Nautilus & we liked that unit a lot, just wish it were higher up than 2nd floor. We won't rebook this unit again though we will stay at The Nautilus, staff is very nice.

Reviewer Comments: My husband knows I love the beach and when I mentioned I'd love to wake up to turning 60 on the beach he said without hesitation, let's go.He didn't see what all the hoopla was about the first time we went (he's a woodsy guy) but he even said this time it was great! The condo was perfect with amazing views! Location was great and not too busy! We will definitely go back to Nautilus 1601 on Okaloosa Island!

Best Friends of 40 years Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My BFF and I go every year to Ft. Walton and have always stayed about 5 condos up the beach. Several issues with the place that we have gone to for years made us look for another condo. I am so glad that I kept looking at the Nautilus when I was ready to book. Finding the Nautilus was a step out of our comfort zone as we stick to our beach/eating routines on a daily basis. We are 65 and 70 yrs. old and are creatures of habit. LOL! We did not know what to expect. The Nautilus was fabulous! From the very beginning they were great communicators. I was very informed about what to do and expect in order to have a glitch free vacation. The Nautilus was still close to everything that we were used to. We had everything that we needed in 1601 and more (with the exception of a gigger measure and dustpan) I have never stayed at a condo that was so well equipped! I had the master suite, and it was very comfortable. My friend stated that her bedroom/bath were comfortable as well. There is a built-in ice maker that is the bomb! Not to mention the side by side frig/freezer that kept everything very cold, which also has an ice maker. The beach view from 1601 is amazing! I loved how large the wrap around balcony is. Seats about 9 people. 1601 is just steps from the elevator, and trash chute. A very short walk to the beach. Everything was on our end of the building. We used the charcoal grills, and I must say that it was very difficult to lite as the wind is so strong, and there are no shields to deter the winds from the grills. Several people abandoned the effort. (The grills will not make me not go back). We watched the fireworks from the marionette balcony that looks over the bay side. I will definitely book there again next year. This is the first time that my feet were not black from walking around in a unit! Everyone that we came in contact with that works there were very friendly. I should have found this place several years ago. I will be booking Nautilus again!
