Hermosa propiedad frente al lago que ha estado en nuestra familia durante 4 generaciones. La casa tiene una gran sala grande con TV y una ventana panorámica con vista al lago. 3 dormitorios y una cocina que está completamente equipada. Gran terraza para asar y disfrutar de las vistas. Hoyo de fuego junto al lago. 2 canoas y 3 kayaks (1 es doble) para explorar el lago. Pendiente perfecta de pendiente lenta en el borde de la playa para niños pequeños. Hogar perfecto para unas vacaciones familiares, una reunión o diversión con amigos. Estamos a 2 minutos del campo de golf, del lanzamiento público de botes y del famoso teatro Lakewood. Incluso si tu tiempo en el campamento es apartado y tranquilo, estás a solo 5-10 minutos en coche de Dunkin Dounuts, Walmart y Hannaford. Muchas grandes ciudades, caminatas y lagos para visitar. Estamos a unas 2 horas de Bar Harbor, así que es una excelente opción de viaje de un día. ¡Asegúrate de visitar The Bankery Bakery en la ciudad de Skowhegan para obtener pasteles frescos! ¡Esperamos que nos haya elegido para sus próximas vacaciones, ya que seguramente disfrutará de su tiempo!

Beautiful spot on the lake! Extremely roomy, tidy and well stocked. Very close to the wedding venue my son got married at was an extra perk. The back deck is awesome and spacious and we had a lovely night around the fire pit.

Lake life

If you are looking for a quaint Maine cabin on a lake, this is it! Shallow beach front, plenty of kayaks, canoes, and floats. Huge deck. Quiet lake and neighbors. There are plenty of positive things to say. Too many to mention!!Negatives: The kitchen is dark; adding some lights under the cabinets would remedy that. TV is small and there is only one. The house was clean on the inside....I think looking out a window and seeing thick spider webs hanging from the eaves and all over the deck is an oversight on the cleaners, not the owners, but merited a mention and the deletion of a star. Overall, a wonderful time.

We had an awesome experience and vacation. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery. The house was so unique with so much charm. We had beautiful weather. The water was clear and warm. Great Get AWAY - THANK YOU!

This vacation was super wonderful. Enjoyed the perfect Maine cottage with my growing adult families. The beach was perfect for my 2 yr. old granddaughter, the private yard was great for our dogs, and the house layout for wonderful for sleeping and gathering. We rented a poontoon and had a great time navigating the lake, which is so clean, warm, & peaceful. We felt like it was all ours, not croweded and very enjoyable. My son and I went kayaking too. The house had everything we could have wanted, so well stocked compared to other rentals. The fact that this home had so many options to sunbathe, gather on the deck, go to the sandy beach, play catch with the dogs in the yard, explore the lake, gather in the family room and relax in the dining area made our stay so enjoyable. Loved listening to the Loons.... We ventured out to the Skowhegan Fair and found Donna's Ice Cream as well as had lobsters from "High Tide, Low Tide" and went to the "Maine Grain", and "Lakewood Inn" for dinner. My family really enjoyed this home. It was a great week of relaxing and being together. Thank you Beth....we will certainly return again!

Beautiful Lake

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. The beach and lake on their property is clean and perfect for kids. We were worried our busy scheduled kids would be bored. In the end, we had more than enough to do with the yard games we brought, boats, swimming, games, eating. We were lucky to be there when the Skowhegan State Fair was going on. The kids had a blast! The owner was responsive. House was clean and fully stocked.

Huge sandy beach with shallow swimming area

The house was big and spread out with lots of common space. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Had everything we could have needed. The yard and the beach are the best part for us. We spent all day out in the water. Calm enough for paddle boards. Great place! Would be perfect for children

Guys weekend

Had a guys weekend here with a group of 11 in our late 20’s. The location is awesome; secluded, scenic, and relaxing. Yard, water access, and the fire pit really made the weekend. House was great as well. Good kitchen, bathrooms, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for the whole group. Host was accommodating and communication was easy.

Perfect Getaway

My partner and I had such a lovely time at this home. The house interior is beautiful and spacious. The couch is so comfy! The views were amazing. It rained the whole weekend, and we weren't even bothered as the home itself was so nice to spend time in. I highly recommend sipping coffee and looking out over the lake to get those relaxing vacation vibes started. The kitchen was the most well stocked one I've experienced, it had everything we needed to cook. Host was quickly responsive, and their departure instructions were simple to follow, and completely reasonable. 100 percent would stay again.

Lake vacation

The house was very nice, well spread out. The lake though, absolutely gorgeous! The water was so clean, we heard the loons, and saw bald eagles. The town was not far away so if needed to run to store it was great. Great vacation!

A vacation in Paradise!

Everything was just wonderful. The premises have everything (I mean EVERYTHING!) a family would need for this magical place. We and our grandchildren and two daughters had the best time. My one granddaughter (5 years old) woke up Monday morning and told her mother “we have to come back here again mommy. We had so much fun.” The place is extremely comfortable as there is plenty of air conditioning for each room for those warm evenings. Games for the children, the fire pit with sticks provided for s’mores. The gas grill for rib eye steaks, oh my!A ride in a canoe! Giffords ice cream, along with miniature golf. My daughters went there when they were young girls too. What fun was had. Memories were made that will never be forgotten. We will most definitely return in the future. Hopefully for longer next time.

Chaplin-Boyd Vacation 2023

This was one of the most relaxing properties I've ever had the pleasure of staying. Very rustic. Great location. The hosts were very responsive to any needs and questions. I would definitely recommend a floating device for the lake. We had one that fit 6 and it was so fun to float on the lake all day. We fished and kayaked. The boathouse had remnants of wild life so it could have been cleaned out a little better and the hammock was really dirty but otherwise I highly recommend staying here if you want to relax with a beautiful view all day.

Another Enjoyable Stay

This was our fourth stay at this lake house. We enjoy it every year no matter what the weather throws at us. We appreciate that there have been many upgrades over the years.
