clean and well looked after property
good base to visit places from
lonely , comfortable accommodation in good central location
property exceeded expectations after the initial confusion at the booking stage when we were told the property was unavailable but apart from that I can highly recommend this property.
The house was comfortable but is in need of a spring clean and updating.
The house is in need of updating and a big clean up. Not good value for money.
Sorry that you seemed dissatisfied with the property- we did have a word with the cleaner (who is amazing by the way) and she was a little upset at your comment - We have recently had a new kitchen, new shower room and a new down-stairs toilet fitted (please see the photos) so we are doing our best. As for not good value we received 50 pounds per night for four people over the Christmas and New Year period which I would think no one else could better.- Please read the other comments below
Lovely break for half term
This is our second time staying here and we will be returning in future. The property has recently had a new shower room fitted and a downstairs toilet installed which is great. The bedrooms are large and having a second sitting room is great when we wanted to escape the children's programs! The only thing that the property could possibly benefit from is wifi as being in a beautiful area has the drawback of poor mobile phone/ mobile data reception.
Home from home. Clean and tidy. Would recommend.
Located in the heart of England the amount of attractions within short driving distance of the property are too numerous to list but include Alton Towers, Lichfield Cathedral, Chatsworth House etc (Google ‘Staffordshire Attractions’ to see what I mean!) and not far from Cheshire, Derbyshire and The Peak District.
Close by you will find Trentham Gardens, Monkey Forest, along with Gladstone Pottery Museum and other places associated with the potteries industrial heritage.
You will also find attractions like , Bridgemere Garden World, Cotebrook Shirehorse Centre, Ironbridge, and Bakewell (home of the famous tart) all near by.
We are sure that when you have stayed once you will want to return again and again.
Easily Accessible from the M6 Motorway.
