This cottage has a beautiful setting in Springdale near the entrance of Zion and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The cottage felt like coming home after a beautiful day of hiking. Jack was a very responsive host and we enjoyed our stay.
This was a great stay, very convenient to restaurants and Zion National Park!
I enjoyed hosting Christine and her family and would welcome them back anytime.
Nice space for a small family. Nice outdoor space around the cottage. Good location in Springdale right outside Zion National Park. Walking distance to Springdale restaurants and shops. Stayed only 1 night but a good space to rest after hiking all day.
I enjoyed hosting Orlando and his family and would welcome them back anytime.
A Zion Gem
This historical property in the heart of Springdale is the perfect accommodation for a small family or couple! We loved the rustic designs in the courtyard and barbecue area out back. Kitchen was up to date with all upgraded appliances which was a plus! I would highly recommend this property to my staff and friends!
I always appreciate great guests and it was a pleasure to host Kenneth and his family. I would welcome them back anytime and hope they return in the not too distant future. Two thumbs up!!
Great stay at the Rose cottage in Zion
Jack is a very accessible and helpful owner and the property was as advertised - great location, cozy and clean and relaxing - great outdoor hangout area to enjoy the cooler evening. We would stay there again!
So glad you enjoyed your stay Joe - it was a pleasure to host you and I hope you return soon! You are always welcome back!!
The host is a long-term employee of the National Park Service and has worked at Zion for the past 30 years. I'm new at having my home as a vacation rental and look forward to meeting new people and making new friends.
Why Jack chose Springdale
The Rose Cottage was built in 1934 and has a number of structural elements that were salvaged from buildings in the park such as the oak flooring came from the a Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) camp in the park as well the the windows in the living room. It will soon be nominated to the National Register of Historic Places.
What makes this Cottage unique
The Rose Cottage offers the unique character and charm that only a historic structure can offer. It is one of the few remaining historic structures left in Springdale that provides different type of guest stay and a little glimpse back into the past before Springdale and Zion NP became the tourist destination it is today.
