Escape to this lovely apartment in picturesque Pilot Mountain. This cozy retreat features a bedroom with a comfortable bed and a charming living room with a sofa bed for extra guests. With separate water closet, coffee bar, fridge, microwave, linens & towels provided, you'll have everything you need for a fantastic stay. Please note:This is one of 3 units. It is a remodeled commercial building. This unit shares a wall with Unit 1. Every unit has their own private entrance as well as parking. Close to Pilot State park, wineries, shops, and “Mayberry” (Mount Airy) is a short 15 min drive away. We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our apartment.

This was a perfect location for a quick visit to Pilot Mountain. This was booked for our visiting Pastor and his wife. The online description matched our expectations and our few questions to the owner were answered quickly and with concern for our comfort. I would definitely recommend this for couples visiting the area.

The property has no emergency egress exits and no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors which made us feel unsafe. The property also has a musty odor that was either mold or urine which was being covered up by an automated air freshener that was so strong it was unbearable.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take the safety and comfort of our guests very seriously. We would like to clarify that the apartment is equipped with both smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, which are installed and visible in the unit. The entry/exit door is also clearly marked with an exit sign. We are unsure why these safety features were not noticed during your stay. Immediately prior to your reservation, the previous guests brought an unauthorized pet and unfortunately left the apartment in a condition that required extensive cleaning. Because your reservation was scheduled for the following day, we made every effort to thoroughly clean and prepare the property rather than cancel your reservation and inconvenience you. The property is currently being completely remodeled, including new flooring and furnishings, as part of our efforts to address the condition left by the previous guests and provide an improved experience for future guests. We regret that you experienced an odor during your stay and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.

The check in and check out process was excellent. The host was very accommodating and accessible with all needs. The location was very well kept and clean. I would highly recommended this location and host to anyone.
