The house was a perfect set up for us. My husband enjoyed the recliner. The mattress was quite comfortable. The rooms were a great size and the windows let in ample light. Everything was clean. The floors were forgiving of all the tracking in that happens. Seating outdoors was wonderful. We were close to everything we wished to do. We got to see deer and turkey out of the windows.

We enjoyed our stay. It was on a road but still felt fairly private and quiet. It was nice that it was on some land with woods as a back drop. There were black squirrels, which was unique to see. We enjoyed the hot tub and found that it heated up quite quickly. Getting in the house was easy w/ a lock box and communication was timely & clear. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. My husband has a disability and I’m listing this next part so that it may be helpful for others. This is not a complaint about the house. Parking is very close to the house but does require walking across lawn. The hot tub is a bit further and also requires walking across the yard. The hot tub does not have a step into it. We managed but it was a bit tricky for my husband. Getting into the house requires a few steps up. The bedrooms and bathroom are all on the second floor. There are railings but it is an older house with a staircase that turns and there are some spots without railing. The bathroom has a shower.

Adorable house, great location! A lot of privacy and a very spacious yard. Looking forward to going in spring/summer so we can enjoy the outside more. Communication was excellent! Amenities were well thought out. Would definitely recommend, and already planning to stay again!

Wonderful rental. House is very inviting and yard is beautiful. Had deer in the yard every evening. Beds are very comfortable. Nice quite area but close to town and activities. I'm pretty sure our dog loved it too!

Outstanding experience! This 2-story home was newly renovated and the pride in craftsmanship showed. Both the inside and outside completely upgraded, while still retaining the early 1900s charm. If you grew up when I did, you'll remember plaster walls and the low doorway to the bathroom. The home is nestled on a beautiful lot with tons of elbow space with a fire pit, picnic table, etc. At night, you'll probably miss seeing the deer and other wildlife around you because you'll be looking at the stars -- millions of them. No artificial light pollution here. The home was extremely well-appointed, with everything from coffee pots to shot glasses -- not that we actually needed them. We wanted for nothing. The host couldn't have been better. We misplaced our key to the home after we moved our luggage into the home. We failed to obtain the host's phone number, so we sought the help of a neighbor who was able to contact the host. Soon a family member of brought us a spare key, saving us a huge amount of time and money. What a great experience.
