Daufuskie Island: Only accessible by private boat or paid ticketed ferry. I will happily help you to arrange your water and land transportation. Golf carts are highly recommended to explore the island. You cannot bring your car and will leave it at the ferry parking lot.

Take garbage to the dump at 95 Buckhorn Ln if staying more than 2 nights. Hours are 9-5, Thurs-Mon (closed Tues & Wed & daily from 12-1) If you’re checking out on a Wed, leave trash in the kitchen.
3) Wash all used dishes and small appliances.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This little cottage was just right for a couple of nights on Daufuskie during the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament . It had everything we needed for our stay - which was mostly a peaceful, cool & quiet place to sleep after long days. The beds were super comfy! We didn't cook or use the firepit or beach gear - but I can tell you it is well outfitted if you need those things during your stay. The location is great, easy drive to Freeport Marina for food, drink & entertainment. Easy IN/OUT.

We had the best stay at the Sol Shack this weekend on Daufuskie Island. This home is cozy and peaceful giving you the full island vibe. We felt like we were staying with a friend. We ate out at the restaurants but the kitchen is well stocked if you choose to cook. Bed was comfy and so were the couch and the porch! Tennille, was the best host. I recommend staying here as many days as you can…. You will not want to leave!!
