We loved the location and closeness to the beach and the check in process. I guess the only item that was a bit unpleasant was the musty odor downstairs and not having AC other than the AC unit in the living room that fed the apartment. Initially we had no AC until we called manager and he helped us figure it out. Due to the hurricane we had to reschedule and the process was very easy. Weather was amazing this time of the year.

Family Spring Break Trip

This house was perfect for accommodating mine and my husbands families so we could all meet up and spend their spring break together! It was a clean, fully furnished home and perfectly located to walk to the beach. We were all very happy with our stay.

Amazing

This place is beautiful and amazing. Had a hiccup in the beginning but the owners and property were so outstanding and fixed it asap. The house was so roomy we had 6 adults and 7 kids and everyone was comfy and had a blast. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a wonderful time and house.

Nice Stay

Enjoyed it. Was clean. Provided plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were accommodating. Wish they would have provided a few more trash bags, and paper towels. Also we couldn't figure out how to get the cable to work. Enjoyed the location, and had a great stay. Would stay here again.

Mom's Retreat

A group of moms came to relax for Mother's Day. It was very clean, well stocked rental. We did not understand that the two units were not connected and you had to go outside to go back and forth but it worked out because the weather was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach made it very convenient. It was a quiet, friendly area to visit.

Great location. OK property

Property could use some renovation. Beds were ok. AC did not work on both days during the afternoon. It was hard to get some one to answer when we called for maintainence. The location is great!

Lovely home, good space for big parties, multiple families

Lovely home with a nice layout. More like two separate living spaces than a combined home, but we still got together for dinner in one of the kitchens. Rooms are very bright, which was a slight issue for nap times for the kids (and Grandparents), but we covered the windows with blankets (room darkening shades would help). Well-appointed kitchen, lots of clean bathrooms. I would love for a proper outdoor shower. Overall great stay and home.

Clean and great location

Our group of 16 comfortably stayed at this house for 3 nights. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the rooms were large enough to fit a pack n play in them. The house was very clean and well kept. The beach access was literally 50 steps from the house which was perfect for our group with 5 small children. The bikes, wagon & chairs in the utility closet were great to have available. Eating dinner with 16 people on one floor was a little tight, but very doable. The kitchen has all the basic pots/pans and items needed to make meals. Each floor has its own washer & dryer set which was extremely helpful. Overall we were very pleased with this house for our vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Annual family and friends beach-trip

This is an opportunity for family and friends to get together with folks we don't see as often as we like due to children now being grown up, have moved away and have started families. A chance to relax and play. The house being 2 apartments was unclear, but we did ok as it helped to keep the real little vacationers on their schedule and the all nighters on theirs. We did a lot of cooking there, which was good in the up-stairs kitchen, but the downstairs kitchen needs new cutlery (rusty) and utensils. The downstairs was overall in need of some beautification, but we were still very comfortable, since we spend most of our time at the beach or up-stairs. Thank you for your fast response to the maintenance issues we alerted you to.

This place needs a remodel

The house was filthy. I brought my youth group here for a retreat and for the price this house was not at all worth it. Pictures looked nice but this house is obviously just a rental property that is not cared for. Upstairs is nice, lower level is rough. The showers were fine and the beds had nice mattresses, but the house was very dirty. Blood stains on a pillow, dirty rag under the bed, nasty smelly dishes left in the dishwasher. They need a new cleaning crew and someone to come in and give the lower level a refresh. Sorry to leave a bad review, but it’s an honest one.

Our Stay

Our family of 14 had a nice stay. We had some problems. Downstairs oven did not work. We had no dish towels or dishcloth in the upper and lower floors. The maintenance man came over because the refrigerator was leaking upstairs and it was fixed. While he were there he brought us dishtowels and dishcloth. There was no coffee pot downstairs. Maintenance brought us new coffee pots. The oven were dirty ever time we turned on the oven fire alarm went off. The descriptions stated that the bath downstairs was handicap accessible but the were not approved. There no bath chair or bars. We had several elderly family that just needed a bath chair and rails. Overall we had a good time and enjoy our stay. Everyone slept well the mattress were very comfortable.

More pros but a few cons

High points to this place is that it fit our family well. We had a member who doesn't handle steps well so ground floor was good. Older generation stayed on bottom floor and younger generation upper floor which gave a good separation. No inside steps, but this wasn't a big problem. Beds were comfortable. All areas were spacious. Bicycles, cornhole, beach wagon and chairs were all pluses. Kitchens were very nicely stocked with utensils though the upper kitchen was better than the lower. Downsides were that the air conditioning was not working very well on the lower floor. My husband found an A/C unit in the storage area and installed in our bedroom which helped a great deal. The upper level stayed very cool. We were curious why we were told to leave the beds made and not strip the linens and some members wondered if the sheets were changed between guests. The trash bins stunk bad and there were a lot of flies in the house, which may have been due to the inlet behind the house. Overall this rental unit fit our particular needs and was mostly a good week.

Great for large families!

We had a large group of 18 staying at Eye Sea Blue, and it had everything we needed. The kitchens were so well stocked. We had plenty of ovenware to heat up our Thanksgiving meal and an abundance of silverware and fridge room. The Keurig got lots of use as well as the beach toys that were provided. There was plenty of parking, and we loved having the public beach access across the street. The temps got into the 30s outside at night and the downstairs got chilly, but there were extra blankets stocked in the closets. We took another reviewer's suggestion to grab extra TP, which we ended up needing. Evolve was very easy to work with, and we had a comfortable stay.

Fun for Family

We enjoyed our stay here. We rented both lower and upper units for our family. The upper unit seemed a bit more updated and had 4 bedrooms. Although the unit was clean, we did another thorough cleaning because we had a child with medical needs. Public Access to the beach was close to us. Only issue that I had was poor drainage on the road. It rained and the water was so high that it flooded into my in-laws car, but that’s a locality problem.

Disappointed

Bring your own towels, sheets, cleaning supplies, and fly swatters. You'll need them. Location is great, however.

Steps to the beach

The location of this property is incredible! Water views from the back deck and steps to the street from the front! The two separate floor set up was lovely for our big family. Two fully stocked kitchens made cooking easy and this house had comfortable beds that made sleeping away from home a breeze.

Great home and location

This home is steps from the beach access. We were able to easily go back and forth to the home. We had 14 friends at this home for a parents weekend away and we very comfortably all fit. The two kitchens were amazing for cooking larger meals. Would recommend this home to anyone
