Great vacation home

We loved staying here! You can walk to shops and restaurants, and most importantly, the beach. Three decks made it easy to find a spot to relax in the ocean breeze. We loved have two fridges and such a large kitchen for cooking big meals.

Stay was ok in comparison. Easily accommodated 14 guest, mainly adults. The rooms were ok, very traditional and a bit outdated. Television remotes not labeled or available. The cleanliness of the place was subpar
 shower curtains blackened and ceiling fans needed dusting along with baseboards. Bring your own cleaning supplies and toilet paper/paper towel. Televisions aren’t smart TVs
. Light switches not well labeled. Owner didn’t ensure trash was removed from property before next guest—- asked me to pull it to curb.

The home was beautiful, located close to everything. I did not like that no towel or wash clothes were not provided and I learned that on the day of the trip.

Great weekend fishing trip with close friends.

The house was large enough for a big group. Plenty of inside and outside gathering places. On a canal with a dock that can be used to tie up a boat. Fabulous views from the top of the widow’s watch and multiple decks. Central location to restaurants and local shopping. I would have given 5 stars to all categories if I had known upon booking that the linens were not included. Received that information along with house code the morning of the day we were arriving. Had to scramble to gather necessary linens, towels, paper towels, trash bags and toilet paper. Overall a great location and a clean house.

Can't Wait to Return

This was our 12th year vacationing in OIB and our third year at this house. We haver a large family and couldn't be more pleased with the house and its location. We can't wait to return for our 13th vacation.

Awesome house on OIB!

Location, location, location! Right behind the center of the island, so our kids walked to the park with no problem and were still in our view! This house a great place to stay if you have a large group! Spacious kitchen! 3 balconies with a view of the ocean to enjoy your coffee or cocktail! The 2 full sized refrigerators really came in handy! This was a short walk to the beach! Would definitely stay again!

We’ll be back

This was our second year here, and we all agree we love the location. It’s an easy walk to the beach, park, restaurants, shops, etc... We have plenty of room for our family and the kitchen is great for preparing dinner for a large group. There were a couple of maintenance issues, and the owners were proactive, responsive, and accommodating. We’re looking forward to returning next year for another great week!

Fantastic, centrally located beach home!

My family and I stayed for an end of summer family beach trip. Their were 14 of us at all different age ranges. We had such a wonderful time and their was something for everyone! My husband and boys brought a jet ski where we were able to enjoy some of the calmer inlet water. The ocean was a quick walk away from the home with super easy access! The host provide umbrella, toys, wagon etc which saved a lot of room during packing. We were able to catch crab and fish from the dock, which everyone loved! The food and coffee shops were all in walking distance and the isle was safe enough to let my 12 & 13 year old daughter and niece ride bikes or walk independently together. The splash pad and playground a block away was a huge hit with the littles! So many amazing things about this home & its location, I’m sure I have forgotten somethings, but you for sharing it with us! We had a wonderful time!

Great Vacation Home!!

This home was a wonderful fit for our large family! We had a large party with 4 couples and 7 children, and there was still one room that wasn’t used for sleeping in!! This home is a large home with enough bedrooms and the kitchen was a great place for everyone to come together! There is a series of outdoor seating arrangements, all very comfortable. The beach was very nearby, too. Many thanks to our hosts. Robert & Alaka, who were available to answer any questions we had!!

A Wonderful Time

This is our second year staying here. We have a large family and the house is perfect. Plenty of bedrooms and the location couldn’t be better. It’s a short walk to the beach, the canal is just behind the house, the park is right next door, restaurants and bars just around the corner. The owner is very responsive. The whole check in process couldn’t be easier.

Exactly what we needed

We had a wonderful week! The house had everything we needed for a large family group. Location is excellent, and we enjoyed walking to restaurants and shops nearby, as well as the park. Easy access to the beach by foot, especially with the wagons provided, and the waterway by boat. Looking forward to returning again next year!

Wonderful vacation rental

The property is great. Pictures on VRBO don’t do the house justice. It is much brighter, spacious, full of sunlight and very lovely in real life. Many beds. We are a big group of adults and kids but never felt jammed. Only a short distance to the beach. Short walk to the playground with splash pad. Very nice neighborhood with grocery stores, ice cream shops, restaurants, brewery
 The host is super responsive and very nice. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation rental at Ocean Isle.

Easter Long Weekend

This is our 2nd year staying at this house with our 3 grown children and their families, plus some in-laws. We had 10 adults, and 6 kids under the age of 8. There was plenty of room for everyone. The location is perfect. On the canal, fishing off the dock, short walk to the park for the kids, short walk to the beach for everyone... Looking forward to next year!

Great house for a family

Our family enjoyed this VRBO rental. The house had rooms and bathrooms for everyone, a well stocked kitchen, great beach wagons to transport beach gear and kids, and centrally located for easy access to a fun Friday night concert, splash park and playground for the kids, and fishing off the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

After years of enjoying Ocean Isle Beach with friends, family and our children we decided we wanted to have our own home to continue to make wonderful memories!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We spent a week renting on Laurinburg Street and decided this was the place for us. From Laurinburg St. it's a fun walk to the downtown area, pier, restaurants, playground, museum and most importantly the beach. Park the car and leave it even with small feet you can get where you want to go. Enjoy fishing, kayaking and crabbing off the dock on the canal and if you are feeling adventurous go boating and jet skiing then dock them at the canal. On a rainy day or if you need a break from the beach walk over to the Museum of the Coastal Carolina's and you will not be disappointed. The property is in the ideal location and offers opportunities inside and out. Relax on any of the 5 outdoor porches and for an amazing view head to the widows watch at the top. The best place to watch the sun rise and set with the beverage of your choice.

We wanted to be at the beach, but we wanted to get more than just the beach and sand experience. This house gives kids and adults access to much than the beach. You can easily walk to the pier, ice cream shop, restaurants, mini-golf and then head to the beach. Enjoy the day fishing from the dock and jet skiing in the inter coastal waterways.
