We do birthday trips insteaf of parties and presents. This was the perfect stay for our son to celebrate turning 7. It's a nature lovers dream. Everything was perfect and no details missed!!
Clean, incredibly well-stocked cabin with lots of amenities. Great location that feels both secluded yet safe. Owners were easy to work with and so accommodating. Overall, really enjoyed our stay!
The property was exceptionally clean and well furnished. The host Scott was friendly and checked in me periodically to see if I needed anything. Enjoyed our conversations, Scott offered suggestions for activities in the area. All around, a great weekend and we will definitely rebook at this property to stay longer than just the weekend.

Thanks for the great review! We'd love to have you back for a longer stay. If you want to stay during Spring or Summer be sure to plan ahead. It starts booking 2-3 months out.
The cabin was a great getaway. We were often greeted by families of deer on the driveway. The sounds of crickets and bullfrogs quickly announced the evenings. We had fun exploring shops downtown and meeting friendly local staff. The cabin was fully stocked, knives were sharp and even had a blender to make cookies. The cabin was very clean and easy to navigate using kayaks and canoes with the owner’s clear instructions. We enjoyed playing bean baga on the deck and fishing too. We searched for diamonds at Diamond Crater State Park with no luck but had fun! Get a cleaning station in the sun as the washing water is chilly. We made the drive to Lake Gleeson Dam and up to the marina area. We had a memorable time skipping rocks on the lake. The cabin owner was very responsive, friendly and even gave us recommendations for dining and grocery shopping. Had a great trip!
This was an amazing place to stay. The kitchen and actually the whole house was fully stock with everything you need. Plenty of kitchen ware. The owner was very helpful and communicated extremely quick. We kayaked in November We had 6 adult and 3 small kids and fit us perfectly
Great location. Extremely clean. Everything you need for your stay is already there except food and drinks of course. Took the whole family. Everyone had a wonderful time. The owner even came and brought us more firewood for the fire pit. I would highly recommend staying here. Definitely coming back.

We're so glad you enjoyed our cabin. And thanks for the picture and great review! We'd love to host you again.
Wonderful stay. The whole family enjoyed fishing, and kayaking. I appreciate the life vests available which fit everyone a 4, 8 and 11 year old. Beds were comfortable and blankets and covers were nice. Kitchen was very well stocked. We forgot our s’mores sticks but they had some available and a lighter. Over all it was a wonderful stay. The little path to the deck was a little stiff but they even had some walking sticks that helped.
Man we had such a great time at this place! It was so nice to be away from all the busyness of life and enjoy the peaceful cabin on the river. Getting there was easy, the directions got us right where we needed to be. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was a lockbox for checkin that made getting in and out simple. The cabin itself was spotless. Everything was squeaky clean and well taken care of. The kitchen was a dream with everything we needed, plus both drip coffee and Keurig options. The bathrooms and showers were great and stocked with all the basics. Our kids made the most of everything. They played all the games, read books, and ran wild outside. They especially loved the kayaks and exploring the river. We spent most of our time on the back porch and down on the deck by the river. We loved the fire pit in the evenings.Town was less than 10 minutes away if we needed anything, the dollar stores had most of what we forgot. Walmart was about 30 minutes out, but we hit that on the way in. We took a day trip to the Albert Pike recreation area to hike Winding Stairs. That was beautiful and definitely helped drain the kids energy! This was such a peaceful, fun getaway for our family. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. We will definitely look to stay here again!
This was an amazing experience! We hosted our ladies small church group there and there was plenty of room, clean, amazing views and this cabin was perfect. There is so much to do-from kayaking the river right in front of the cabin to thrifting in the local town! The porches are amazing for soaking up the sun and enjoying the sound of the river! I highly recommend this place and will be renting it again in the future! The HOST ARE AMAZING, and communicate well!
