Winter paradise

Cozy, comfortable home with beautifuj art work and tons of game options to unwind and enjoy some downtime. House had every thing you needed and is the Perfect location. We can’t wait to go back!

Authentic Maine cottage experience

We had a great couple of nights in this lovely Maine house. Perfect also in the winter. Wonderful fireplace inside and a great campfire place outside. Totally recommendable!

Bachelor party

What an amazing weekend we had for my twin brothers bachelor party. Great house exactly as it was listed online. We played golf at Poland springs and also hit the Oxford casino and ended the nights back at the house and we had a blast playing the games that they had inside the house. I would recommend this house to anybody and appreciate Suzanne and Patrick for their hospitality

Our stay was nice. We weren't there alot due to attending the Fryeburg fair. Our host was very quick with responses to a few questions we had. There are camera's all around the outside of the house front and back, this made us a little uncomfortable but host said it is for their sake when they are away from property ,but still uncomfortable. Upstairs bedroom door did not shut all the way for privacy. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries. Otherwise large space for stay. It felt more like a cabin than a house a little musty walking in and cold. Overall it met our needs for our short stay, and host very attentive.

Great Weekend Stay

We stayed here for a wedding in Fryeburg with my parents and three kiddos. The two levels were great for us, the bunk room and second room were downstairs with their own bathroom and living area, and my parents were able to have some space upstairs. The hosts were excellent whenever we needed something and checked in with us. The pool area that is in the community is a drive or a longish walk, but it is very clean and easy to get to- the lake is nice and pretty close. Perfect for us for a long weekend!

Cozy cabin close to many outdoorActivities

This cabin was perfect for our first family getaway to Maine. Very cozy with beautiful artwork! Quiet neighborhood with close access to many outdoor activities. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming in the lake, beach volleyball, roasting marshmallows by the fire, shopping, golfing, tubing, hiking, and playing games at night! We had many laughs here! The hosts checked in on our first day through email and quickly responded to questions! Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Great place for outdoor adventures with your family

This is a great place to accommodate 10 people and is close to lakes, beaches, swimming, boating, and hiking. We liked the quiet, wooded neighborhood and separate sleeping and living levels. It was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Fully equipped for family vacation

Enjoyed the stay. The house has lots of sleep space. We appreciated the games, fire pit, beach towels, and other amenities at the house. We also enjoyed using the kitchen and grill with the lovely screened porch. The neighborhood association beach and pool were clean and quiet. An unexpected issue with the house was repaired quickly with excellent communication from the owners.

Shawnee Peak Christmas Vacation Week

We found Hidden Haven to be cozy and warm for our winter getaway. The house is surrounded by evergreens and has a nice enclosed back porch for those visiting in the warmer months. We enjoyed the natural fireplace and the fresh snow Mother Nature provided. It is a great location, close to downtown North Conway, NH for nightlife and shopping, close to the coast of Maine and a visit to LL Bean, and an excellent location to ski at Shawnee Peak (a wonderful family mountain). The development is peaceful and quiet and the home is close enough for a stroll to Moose Pond. There was more than enough room for everyone to stretch out after a long day at the mountain. I would recommend this property to families with children and anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful state of Maine!

10 of us ages 4-68 loved the house as it’s location to Shawnee peak was perfect for our 3 day trip.

Great house. Easy to find. Beds for 10. Easy to cook meals. Good dryer for snowy clothes. Quick drive to Shawnee Peak. Suzanne was very kind to extend our stay after I messed up the reservation.

Great location and well kept. Everything you need!

We had a great time up in Bridgton over school vacation week. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect size for our family. The location was perfect for skiing over at Shawnee Peak and was close to town where we went to eat most nights. Overall a great experience and we will be looking to come back next year. Thanks again!

Great cabin close to Shawnee peak and downtown Bridgton

Had an awesome weekend staying at Hidden Haven! The cabin was clean and ready for our weekend when we arrived. We were only about five minutes away from Shawnee peak where we enjoyed a few ski runs during our stay. We would definitely stay at Hidden Haven again!

Located on a quiet wooded lot with easy access to Moose Pond's private (beach), pool, tennis and basketball court just a short walk or bike ride down the road (.5miles). This hidden haven accommodates 8-10 in beds, with 2 bathrooms. Terrific open living area with a cozy wood fireplace. Outdoor entertaining fire pit, grill, Flat screen TV, Dvd player, High speed Wi-Fi, "New" heating and air conditioning & Netflix, board games, Atari and 2 kayaks.
Bridgton hosts some great restaurants, Pubs, a Movie Theatre, one of the last remaining Drive- In theaters, Antiques, Golf, Skiing, Grocery stores, Renys (A Maine Adventure)!!, Diners and a Cigar lounge. Hiking everywhere. 20 Minutes to North Conway, 45 minutes to Story Land, 90 minutes to Santa's Village. 90 to Portland and the Fryeburg Fair (1st week of October) is a must - only 10 minutes away. One of the worlds most interesting beer pubs (Ebenezer Kezars) hosting 100's of Belgium beers just 15 minutes away. Great roads for motorcycling, biking, etc are everywhere but traffic is not.
Close to Bridgton Academy, Fryeburg Academy, Boys and Girls camps on Moose Pond. And many other summer camps in the area.
