Bienvenido a Casa Starfish! Ubicado en Deck12 ofrece todas las comodidades del hogar. La unidad ofrece un plan de piso espacioso y tiene 2 dormitorios, 2 baños. El dormitorio principal ofrece una cama king size con baño privado que destaca un lujoso spa como ducha y vestidor. El segundo dormitorio ofrece dos camas de tamaño completo por lo que es perfecto para una familia de seis o dos parejas. La cocina totalmente nueva y está totalmente equipada con todos los suministros culinarios necesarios y tiene un hermoso estilo europeo.

La vista del océano no está obstruida. La terraza de más de 300 pies cuadrados ofrece una vista excepcional del océano y la piscina. Hay muebles de alta calidad al aire libre en la terraza, un cómodo sofá, así como una mesa alta y sillas de bar. La terraza es el lugar perfecto para tomar un café por la mañana y ver bucear y bucear con sus excursiones. Luego, a última hora de la tarde, disfruta de la hermosa puesta de sol.

This is a beautiful property and we had a lovely experience staying there. It is quite spacious and accommodating, with tasteful décor, a well-stocked kitchen, a sweet balcony, a ton of space to spread out, and a cool floor plan. The building's pool was quite enjoyable. We loved it and would come back in the future.

Where do we start? Wow wow wow. The place is gorgeous...in terrific condition...with a view that cannot be beat. Check in was simple. Matt communicated very quickly when we had questions. The place is exceedingly well equipped. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and used the snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, and towels. With 2 separate suites, it was perfect for 2 couples. We wanted to be away from town (and the cruise ships) and this location was perfect for us. We had a car so driving to town -- or the Mayan ruins was easy. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Cozumel getaway spot

The place itself is so modern and spacious. It gets a ton of sunlight. Right by the beach in a quieter part of Cozumel. Its well kept and we would return again.

An outstanding vacation rental

The best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Beautiful views from the patio and windows, spacious and elegantly furnished interior with high ceilings and a lot of light, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, a washer and dryer in a separate room, even comfortable beach chairs, a sun umbrella, and a cooler for our beach days, umbrellas for rainy days, and much more. Very quiet and relaxing, yet only an 8-minute drive to Marina ASIPONA for scuba diving trips and 15 minutes to a supermarket. We spent 10 days in the condo and it couldn't be better. Thank you!

Fabulous!

This is our fourth time to Cozumel, we love the island! We decided to stay at the southern end of the island this year and were not disappointed. This condo is amazing, beautifully decorated with amazing views. Matt and Elizabeth provide a personal touch that makes the stay perfect.

Beautiful beachfront condo in quiet location.

Having traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Central America, I can say this was one of the nicest condos I’ve ever stayed at. The interior, exterior, and shared spaces are all amazing. Short drive from town. Quiet area. Close to bars/restaurants. Beach is right across the street with cool tide pools to explore. The owners were very responsive. The stay was perfect.

This unit is spacious, clean, and new, with stunning virws from the huge private deck.

Tastefully decotated, walking disatance to two bars/restaurants, with excellent snorkeling right across the street. Saw an eel, a lobster, and an anemone to name just a few. Beachclub a bit down the road has massages. You won’t be disappointed!

Great for our needs

Great condo for our family. This was the most well-stocked rental I have ever stayed at. Plenty of everything. We had our own snorkel gear, but they had everything you’d need. Best if you have a car, we did, as it is not really walkable to town. Some construction next door, but we weren’t there much during the day. View was spectacular and short drive to Sky Reef for good snorkeling.

Winter escape

Judy and Matt's condo is clean and nicely appointed, and the views are outstanding. The only hiccup we experienced during our stay was no water on two occasions; however, this is an issue that is being resolved, and we would stay in this condo again.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Regarding the short water outages, there was a pump and pressure bladder issue and these are all being replaced and upgraded for the entire building. This shouldn't happen again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Wonderful accommodations and location

Condo was excellent and we would stay here again. Everything we needed in condo was available, including beach towels and potable water to fill our water bottles. We snorkeled right across the street with our kids--ages 7 and 9 (water shoes recommended for entry). Our kids are strong swimmers and have snorkeled before. We could have easily walked down to Money Bar and entered there, too. Location is easy access to multiple places to eat and to downtown, Punta Sur and the east coast. The view is awesome, the location is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful condo and location with ocean view!

Booking was easy, checkin was flawless, and the description of the property was accurate. We dove with Deep Blue and they picked us up at the Caletta which is <5 min drive. You can snorkel right in front of the condo but use the pool floats for visibility due to dive boat traffic, recommend bringing beach water shoes or use open heel fins that require booties. Money Bar and Sky Reef restaurants nearby. Downtown is approx 10 min drive. The condo is quite and relaxing. We will be returning!

This is the spot that I love the most. The view was nothing short of spectacular.

This is a very quiet location but there is plenty of action nearby. There is a small beach across the street and the snorkeling there is fantastic. The sunsets are a daily event to be celebrated from the balcony. The space tastefully decorated to make you feel at home. The supplies for your daily needs were far above our expectations (scuba gear, cool utensils, great cookware). We had the cleaning crew come in once during our 3 week stay and they did an amazing job. They even did our laundry. The owners were super responsive to any concerns that we had. 10 stars!!!

Simply perfect

We loved our stay at Casa Starfish. Everything was exactly as described, so lovely. Beautiful view of the water, comfortable and stylish furniture, not to mention comfortable beds. Everything you might need for a fun, relaxing vacation is here. The other reviews do an excellent job of describing all of the items the owner has thought to share. I'm going to add just a few more things that really are so simple and inexpensive, but are so appreciated. These are things like plenty of extra toilet paper and paper towel, laundry and dishwasher detergent, basic seasonings and condiments, large pump bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, lots of towels, etc. These aren't the things that ruin a vacation by any means, but they certainly are nice to discover on that first day when you're settling in. Thank you again to the Freemans for opening up their gorgeous vacation home. We intend to be back.

The Perfect Home Base for your stay in Paradise

Casa Starfish was a wonderful home away from home during our recent visit to Cozumel and a huge upgrade from a hotel room. There was plenty of space, comfortable beds and the hosts provided all the necessary supplies to really utilize it as our home during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped to make as many meals as you would like, and the view while you cook is incredible. The balcony is comfortably furnished and the perfect place to greet the day or relax after a day out exploring the island. The rooftop patio was another lovely place to gather. The local manager was responsive and helpful. I would recommend renting a car if you stay here, but it is delightful to be away from the crowds. The snorkeling on the reef right across the street was some of our favorite of our trip. Highly recommend.

Best Place we've ever stayed!

We have been renting properties from VRBO for over 8 years, including 3 previous times in Cozumel. From start to finish this has been they best and most well-managed placed we have stayed. The location is great - quiet and secluded but an easy drive to most anything you'd want to do on Cozumel. Great layout, immaculately clean and very complete. So complete that you may want to hold off on the stop at Chedraui until you see whats already stocked. Particularly appreciated were the masks and snorkels and the patio grill. We also cannot thank Judy and Matt enough for their effective management, wonderful consideration and timely communication both before and during our stay. We cannot wait to come back and will book early to ensure we stay with Judy and Matt again. Thanks!! Dan and Terri

great views

There is a upper level with panoramic view of sunset as well as sunrise. The area includes tables and chairs and an awesome outdoor kitchen , unfortunately the grill in the photo is completely rusted out in the bottom, so don't plan on using it. . There was a small electric grill in the condo but difficult to get a sear on the fish we caught. The condo is well equipped with 4 adjustable lawn chairs , not traditional beach that adjust flat in the sand. The kitchen has everything but the non stick pans are well beyond there life expectancy and need replaced. The unit is tastefully decorated. The views from the balcony are lovely. At this price point, I really expected better pillows as every pillow in the unit was completely flat. There is a washer and dryer in the unit but I highly recommend if you have delicate, expensive clothing you use a laundry bag. Every item I washed had straps and strings ....bathing suits, cover ups , pajama bottoms, sundresses. No issues and I washed them on the normal cycle. I washed a brand new, 135.00, Tommy Bahama dress that I got a spot of sauce on by itself on the delicate cycle and the washing machine ate the dress. The technicians did free the dress but it is ruined with all sorts of snags and grease from the agitator. I now have added a laundry bag to my luggage, lesson learned. The property manager is very attentive and got someone out right away to look at the washer. The maids who cleaned the room prior to our arrival did an amazing job. If you do happen to catch fish and need someone to prepare it, Kim at the Barefoot Lounge just steps away, does a fantastic job with your fresh catch.

Thank you for staying with us. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience as our many reviews attest to, we'll take your comments as ways to improve. But we'd like to address a couple of them. There are 2 new Gotham Steel Pro non-stick pans that are less than 6 months old. There may be an older one or 2 in the back of the cabinet, we will remove. Regarding pillows, we have several extra ones for each bedroom of different types, have never had any complaints before. Our grill is a Weber that we specifically sourced from the mainland and we have not problems getting it hot enough if you let it warm up a few minutes. The grill on the roof does need replacing, that's the responsibility of the overall building and we do have it planned.

Nicest Condo we’ve rented.

My wife and rented this condo for a week. The pictures, descriptions and reviews made it an easy choice. There were only the two of us in a two bedroom but it was too nice not to rent. In 25 years of visiting most of the bigger tourist areas in the Mexican Riviera this is hands down the best we have stayed at. I could go on with superlatives but will just say perfect for us and leave it there. We like a little quiet ( no music blaring till midnight and partiers carrying on past that) . The Southern hotel zone seemed just the fit for us. Taxis are super cheap here with a ride into Centro averaging about $6-7 USD. There is a taxi stand in front of the Fiesta Americana five minutes down the street . Sometimes we got lucky and hailed on right out front. I’m sure there is a company number we could call but we are chill on vacation and don’t run a tight schedule. There is a bar/restaurant 10 minutes to the right or 5 to the left. We ate at the Money bar once for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was good. The condo itself has EVERYTHING….. literally. We didn’t cook once but you could cook full meals if that’s your thing with nice utensils, silverware, plates and glasses provided. They had TP and paper towels, beach towels, bath towels, dish detergent, dish washer pods, washing machine pods, condiments in fridge, tons of ice and freezer packs, a cooler that would hold twelve drinks, fins, masks, beach chairs. Coffee maker+filters, a programmable safe, iron, ironing board.... EVERYTHING!!! Our bed was firm but comfortable, we didn’t use the back bedroom and can’t comment on the beds. There were AC units everywhere. It was February and we needed only one ( with back bedroom wing closed) The balcony was AMAZING!!!! Livable with comfy furniture and a table with chairs for a morning coffee. I hate to be this positive as I hate to share/spoil a good thing but this is the nicest place, bar none, we have rented in Mexico and actually pretty much everywhere except Croatia…..and it was even with that rental.

To get your vacation started we leave coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, and other condiments in the unit. We also leave a complete supply paper products, and a purified water dispenser. There is a notebook in the condo with a list of helpful tips, our favorite restaurants and Island activities. We try to think of everything to make your stay a great one!
