Great condo on Lake Dillon. 3bd/2ba, sleeps up to 8, 2 balconies, 2 full bathrooms, reserved parking, hot tub, park like setting, skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, hiking, cross country skiing, volleyball court, horse shoe, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, boating, fishing, biking, running right out the front door all minutes away. Upstairs is a queen bed, fold out couch, downstairs are 2 bedrooms. First on has twin bunk-beds, and full bed, second has queen bed.

Wonderful Lake Front Condo - Minutes To Everything!

Three generations trip

My Mom, two twenty year old daughters and I spent the last 6 days at this condominium. We had a really great time. The location of the property was wonderful. Beautiful view of Lake Dillon with a nice big yard, well maintained, between the condo and lake. There is not much of a deck though. Bathrooms were very nice, remodeled and clean, but the lower level bedrooms were cramped and old. The steep stairs leading to the upstairs, where the main living area and master bedroom are, was a problem for my Mom and would be for any elderly person. Besides that, the condo was comfortable and I would recommend it. We went on a hot air balloon ride, white water rafting and a zipline. We went to the free concert at the Dillon Amphitheater. It was great! Beautiful weather in August! What a great way to escape the heat of the midwest for a while.

Great location, tight on space and ammenities

Stayed here with two families for a ski and ice fishing trip. Parking is really tight, no more than two vehicles and no room for a snowmobile trailer. Kitchen is really a kitchenette, no oven so plan on being creative with the cooking. Electric range top, microwave, toaster oven and crockpot got it done though. The unit is really old, but has been somewhat updated. Small deck has a small grill, perfect for what we needed though. I never did find the hot tub, but what I saw of the laundry and sauna area left me believing I wouldn't have wanted to use the hot tub anyway. Overall this place got the job done, but isn't on my go back again list. Decent value for the place so if you want a unit on the cheaper side of life this may be the one for you.

Great for our Ski Trip

We take a guys only ski trip each year and this place was great. 3 good sized bedrooms and 2 full baths were perfect. The only downside was me breaking my neck on the slopes, literally. Close to both the slopes and the stores in Dillon, we will likely stay here again next year.

Excellent value for the price

We had two families with 3 adults and 5 kids, staying over the busy holiday period. The price for this condo was excellent, and after a day of skiing, we were happy to retire to a cozy place with a comfy couch, big TV, and good, hot showers. The condo is a bit dated, with older stovetop, and lacks a dining table. I found the master bed to be a bit mushy for my taste. All in all, we were happy with our stay.

Beautiful location, but......

First of all, the location of this condo is awesome. The fishing in the lake is fabulous and the atmosphere of the area is refreshing and breathtaking. The condo itself though, I wouldn't say is lacking, but isn't exactly what was expected. There is room to sleep a lot of people. However, there's not much room to walk around with the way beds are arranged everywhere. The rooms are smaller than they look in the pictures, but that's generally the case so I wouldn't consider that an issue. Our bigger problem was that the owner (presumably) had so many personal items in the condo, we could not make this "our home away from home". There were used toothbrushes in the bathrooms, and clothes (mostly children's) were in almost all of the drawers and closets. There were a lot of spices and pantry items, but who knows who left them or how long they'd been there? Upon arrival, one of lights (the only light) in the bedroom didn't work. We called the owner, no answer. My husband set out to fix the problem, flipped the breaker and whatnot and it turned out it was only a burned out bulb. He took one out of another room so we'd have light in the bedroom. The owner did return my call about an hour later and when I told him about the light he stated (in a less than friendly tone) "well, I can't help it if a bulb burns out". I get that, however it looks as though your cleaning person would check that prior to arrival. And speaking of the cleaning person, that is somewhat lacking as well. There were candy wrappers in the floor of a bedroom, popcorn kernels in the living room floor (neither of which we consumed) and dirty, yes dirty as in worn men's underwear and thermal underwear on the floor under a bathroom vanity. We had to clean out expired food in the freezer to put our food in we'd bought for the trip. When I mentioned this to Mr. Cline he stated he "couldn't do anything about things people left. His cleaning lady didn't touch that". Clearly. The closet containing extra bedding and children's games looked like my 12 year old organized it. (That's not by any means neat just to clarify.) And speaking of beds, I didn't see that any of the beds had box springs. They seemed to be only the top mattress on a built up frame with thick bedding making them appear to be a regular mattress set. When the bedding was pulled back, they all looked like futons. This is probably was upset me the most. Maybe they're some mattress/box spring combo. They're less than comfy.

Owner's Response: Hello Jenny. I am so sorry to hear that you had a less than exceptional experience staying at our condo. Having a rental and renting the condo back to back can cause some of these problems. We typically try to make a trip up there in between renters stay to ensure things are cleared away and not left behind. Unfortunately, with it being high season we had three prior renters to yours and weren’t able to make it up to clear out anything left behind. When we did make it up, we did find toothbrushes and some left behind food. I did not find left over candy wrappers or dirty underwear so the cleaning crew must have gotten that on the second round. In any case, we have spoken to the cleaning crew and will be much more careful in renting our place back to back to ensure a level of quality with our guests. Unfortunately, this means renting this place much less frequent which effects guests like yourself with fewer options in high season. There were light bulbs left in the closet for you. Light bulbs burn out, that is just part of life. Sorry. As far as the beds, the bedroom upstairs has a box spring. The one bedroom downstairs has bunk beds and a full bed all of which are in frames and very nice and comfortable. The one bed you are referring to is a memory mattress and is on a futon frame. This is because there is a crib in that room and as you mentioned, there is not a lot of space for much else. I actually prefer that bed over any of the other beds. I guess this is a matter of opinion. We typically only rent to 6 guests which includes comfortable sleeping without that room being included. We will employ that rule moving forward and only make exceptions if the renters are aware. There are not clothes in every single drawer and that is just not true. We have two clear dressers in the two rooms. Again, in the room you stayed in we store towels and sheets. We like to keep those accessible to our guests in the event that they need them. Sorry for your inconvenience on your stay. This is a personal rented place and these are some of the circumstances for this type of rental. We provide things like light bulbs, spices, extra sheets blankets, and towels and do so to provide a better experience for our renters. This has been well received by other guests and I am sorry you don’t share that opinion. Best of luck to you in your future stays.

Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, every mountain activity available with in steps or minutes of location. Ride, walk, bike, run etc to almost anything Dillon and Summit County provides. Bike trail is right out the front door and heads around lake either towards Keystone or Frisco.
