DESCRIPTION: Cruz Views #04 - Destiny is a beautiful two-bedroom one bath corner condo located above the pool. You will enjoy the picturesque views of the turquoise blue seas of Cruz Bay, and across to St. Thomas. With your views facing west, you will enjoy seeing magnificent sunsets during your stay. It does not stop there as once the twinkling lights of St. Thomas pop on in the evening, and the stars light up in the sky, a sense of serenity and peace will settle over you, as you realize, this is what life is all about.

Destiny has an expansive wrap-around deck, which includes an outside dining table with chairs, and lounge chairs, perfect for some private sunbathing, should you want to work on your golden tan. Just a few stairs down from your private deck is the pool and sun deck, so cooling off with a refreshing dip is easily done.
The living space is an open floor plan and includes your kitchen, living, and dining areas. All are beautifully decorated and include tropical accents, and colors throughout. The owners created a fun and beautiful mosaic tile pattern for the stairway, so be sure to check it out as you make your way up the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom level.

The air-conditioned master bedroom is on the left at the top of the stairway and includes a queen bed. The bedroom is well furnished so you can unpack when you arrive, and easily immerse yourself in your home away from home. The air-conditioned loft bedroom is accessed by a ship ladder (attached to the wall) and includes two twin beds. This is not designed or recommended for children under the age of 12. Both bedrooms share a custom built bath and shower.

The Cruz Views Complex consists of 10 condominiums, with 9 of the condos being in the rental market. If you are looking for a well-priced condo, that is convenient to Cruz Bay, look no further than Cruz Views #04, as a stay here, could be your "Destiny".

LOCATION: The Cruz Views Complex is tucked into a tropical hillside location, located about a 160 feet above the town of Cruz Bay. The condos are townhouse style and all face southwest. Each condo was designed to capture the picturesque views of the turquoise seas throughout the day and the spectacular sunsets at day's end. Undoubtedly, you will enjoy these scenic vistas! Cruz Views is only about a 1/2 mile from Cruz Bay, and many guests will walk in to town, as it is all downhill. However, after a few cocktails, or enjoying a delicious dinner at one of the many fine restaurants, you may want to get a taxi to bring you back up the hill, as the walk up can be a bit challenging.

There is on-site parking at the complex for those renting a vehicle. will enjoy the shared pool and if you like to BBQ, there is a gas grill available for guests to use during their stay. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler are also included with each condo.

Great spot

Nice little condo just outside the main bustle of Cruz Bay. Quiet but less than a minute in to the round about. Loft bedroom is really nice if you have kids old enough to use them. View is fantastic and you're far enough up the hillside to you get a constant breeze and a small temperature drop.

What a fabulous view with amazing sunsets! Enjoyed going to the beaches and coming back for a swim in the pool! Kitchen is well equipped. Delores and staff attentive and answered all are questions promptly! Shawn was very helpful, meet us at the ferry dock and helped navigate to the villa. We are looking forward to returning to villa Destiny!

Amazing Stay!!!!!!!!!

Wow...Two words..."THE VIEW" . But also the pool at night. This is a great property close to town, amazing views, amazing private decks. My only recommendation is that you need a car for this property, but I think you need one on St. John anyway. Also for this specific unit the 2nd bedroom has a ladder to access which we loved and my 10 year old had no problem navigating. 1st room is easy access. Loved the relaxed beach vibe furnishings. Would stay again in a second!

Great place and service

I usually don't fill these surveys out but our experience was so good I felt compelled. This condo was perfect for my three daughters and I. Great views, close to all the activity in Cruz Bay, and everything we needed to enjoy the island was supplied. The staff was awesome. Matthew welcomed us to the island and intro'd us to the condo. He was super helpful in preparing us for our stay. I only needed to reach out for help twice and they were great. We had a blackout while there and when the power came back on the water pump needed to be reset. I called the emergency number at 9pm and they had someone there in about 20 mins to take care of us. Highly recommended and I would stay here again for sure. oh yeah... rent a jeep for sure!

Amazing!!

This condo was wonderful. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. The loft area was challenging to get up to but my 18 and 21 year olds were easily able to get up the ladder. Once in the loft, the space was great. The entire condo was very clean and functional. Great kitchen area and balcony. The location of the unit was 1/2 mile from the town. We were able to walk to and from town but the walk up the hill is very challenging and we are in great shape. The hill's incline was very steep so I would advise walking to town and then taking a taxi if it's night time. My daughter is a college athlete and she used the hill for training purposes!! The street was very quiet so it's very safe to walk on. I would absolutely stay at this place again.

AMAZING!!!

We had a fantastic stay!!! Cruz View 4 was perfect for two couples. The kitchen had everything we could even think of needing, including a few tubberware containers for left overs on the nights we cooked. The location was perfect and we loved how close we were to the pool and the grill. Certainly gave our evenings some added fun! I can't even express to you how amazing the view was, just spectacular! My husband and I have visited St. Johns three times now and the view from our villa was the best view we have had so far! We did do the hill a couple of times and it was a big hill but manageable and after several rum punches and pain killers we hardly noticed we were walking up a hill :). I can't think of anything in regards to improvement. The shower is amazing!!!!!! We loved the stone work and the indoor/outdoor feel! We truly loved every moment of our vacation and stay. Thank you so much for helping to make this such a wonderful time and great memories!

Lovely time at Cruz Views

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cruz Views. The view was amazing! I can’t imagine what a view like that would cost at a resort hotel. Decor was nice. Place was clean and comfortable. Beautiful big shower. Kitchen was fully equipped, although we didn’t use it much. Exactly as pictured. Close to everything. It was pretty private and quiet (not many other guests) at the time we went so that was nice. Just a couple of cons, the little stairs up to the loft were pretty tricky to manage. My husband did not want my six year old going up and down the stairs by himself. And I found it a little difficult myself 😂. Also, just FYI there is a crazy steep street/driveway that turns very sharply down into the complex parking area. Big blind spot when pulling into the street. Need to rent a 4 x 4 vehicle as soon as you book because there will be nothing available if you don’t. Same thing if you plan to go to any of the nicer restaurants- book far in advance. That was a mistake we made. FYI Ronnie’s pizza is very good and they deliver. All in all we loved Cruz Views 😃

Destiny was a true delight!!

The property matches the VRBO description. Amazing views! It is clean, updated, well maintained, and has such a pleasant tropical vibe. I want to live here! We appreciated the coolers, beach towels, AC and fan options. The extra private sun deck is a nice perk! The kitchen has everything you might need, even little gadgets and miscellaneous items that come in handy. We used the coffee maker and blender. We loved the unique bathroom with the shower of my dreams! Our teen son enjoyed having his own “space” in the loft and navigated the ladder easily. The pool area is clean with the same amazing views. We had it to ourselves most of the time. In the evenings it was nice to meet a few other guests and share tips on what to see and do in St. John. Apparently Cruz Views #4 is a hot commodity because other people staying in the complex said they tried to rebook #4, but we had made our travel plans well in advance. The driveway is extremely steep but we were able to manage it each day, with guts and determination. The blind spot at the top seemed dangerous, but it is not a heavily traveled road. We did not feel it was safe to walk into town due to the lack of sidewalks on Centerline Road but we did see others take it in stride. We were happy to park our jeep at our car rental place (Conrad’s) and enjoy all Cruz Bay had to offer at night. We highly recommend Landlubber for stocking up your kitchen prior to your arrival. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

***GREAT LOCATION & GORGEOUS VIEWS***

I have been visiting USVI for 30 years and this is my new favorite! Not only is the villa perfection and gorgeous views, the location and proximity to Cruz Bay is less than a mile. The villa #4 Destiny was decorated and fully stocked with necessities such bath towels, linens, soap, several beach towels, two coolers for beach and chairs. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking however we ate every meal in town. The Villa is quiet and family friendly. Met several occupants from different states and made new friends at the pool. We discovered a new paradise at Hansen Bay! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cruz Views! We are looking to book 14 days in the next few months. Can't wait to come back! We have family on St Thomas and definitely will request Cruz Views provided we can get a reservation.

Great stay at Cruz Views!

We stayed at 3 different locations on our trip to USVI this summer, and this condo was our favorite. It has a beautiful view of Cruz Bay and eastern St. Thomas from both the deck and pool area. The property has lovely, well-maintained, landscaping and we were entertained by the small lizards and large iguanas found there. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool each day after returning from our snorkeling adventures around the island – the pool water was always clean, warm, and inviting. The hill up to the condo is rather steep, but we managed to walk it both directions several times without great difficulty (we are both in our mid-50s). I walked to Frank Bay and found quite good snorkeling there, both to the left and right of the beach – I even saw a nurse shark and an eagle ray there. The unit was very clean, and we were surprised at how spacious it was; the cathedral ceiling above the main area gives the unit a very open feel. We ate most meals in, and the kitchen (with large refrigerator – always nice!) had everything we needed. We found the bed very comfortable, and loved the large naturally-lit shower. At the end of our stay there, we felt completely at home and wished could stay longer. We thank Caribbean Villas for their hospitality and good service, and the owners for sharing their condo with us!

Perfect condo on the perfect island

Cruz Views "Destiny" is an absolutely incredible place to stay. My girlfriend and I enjoyed 6 nights and 7 days in this amazing vacation condo. The views from the deck and living area are breathtaking, both day and night. The listing description is spot on - beautiful ocean views during the day, bright orange sunsets in the evening and sparkling sights of St. Thomas at night. The condo itself has a great tropical/island vibe and is very well set up and accomadating, with everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The furniture, including the bed, was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and had a HUGE shower, which included a skylight, window, faux plants and a large bench that made it feel like an outdoor shower. You can tell this unit has been updated recently... the AC is a great feature and the appliances seem newer. Everything worked great. Having visited St. John twice now, I can honestly say I loved the location of Cruz Views. The walk to town down the hill was super easy and cabs back to the unit were very cheap. Also, cab rides up the hill are a lot of fun! You'll understand once you stay here. The pool and pool deck area were AWESOME. Although the pool looks small, it has a deep end that runs the length of the pool, so it's big enough to dive right in. We spent several evenings after coming back from the beach swimming in the pool and enjoying the sunset. We rarely saw anyone else using the pool and the weather was perfect throughout our entire trip. Lastly, parking was very easy. There are several (off street) spots within a 20 yards of the unit. I would highly reccomend staying at Cruz Views "Destiny" unit. The large deck, amazing views and great location blew away our expectations. You can tell this is a great spot after reading the guest logs and seeing how many people come back to this unit, year after year. We will be planning another trip to St. John and we will 100% be staying in Destiny the next time we're here. -Dave
