First of all, the house was perfect for our large extended family! We loved the open kitchen/dining/living room. There was plenty of seating for everyone. It was nicely furnished with kitchen items.Check-in was slightly confusing. I got a text saying the door code would be available at 2:00 (check-in is usually 4:00). My son and his family arrived at 3:30 but couldn't get in. We got there at 3:45, and a representative met us there to let us in. The VRBO listing was for 4 King bedrooms, and 2 Queens. The Master BR was the only King. Again, no big deal, but information for those looking to book this property.Although the beach is right across the street, public access is a little bit of a walk. If you're taking beach toys, Shibumis, etc... it's really best to drive to the closest access point.I listed all of this in our initial survey after getting settled. Then, twice during our visit, beds collapsed. The first one was late Tuesday night when another son and his family arrived. The maintenance man was prompt to come out on Wednesday. Turns out, that bed had missing screws and was not secure at all. It was quickly fixed.Then, on Friday night, another bed collapsed. Our son-in-law found that the bed legs had come undone, and put them back on himself.Apparently a fraternity rented the house before us and had some hijinks during their stay.I would recommend the house, but be aware of these issues. The management company was very communicative.
