Diane and Erik were amazing hosts! They were quick with the communication, made sure we had everything we needed, and followed up to make sure things were going well. On top of that, their place is amazing: very beautiful, relaxing, and lavish. Would highly, highly recommend.

The house was as promised and perfect for a get-together with friends. While certain items were hard to find, the hosts were very responsive and helped us with any questions. The hot tub and karaoke room were stellar additions to the place. Loved it!

We so enjoyed our stay at this house. It was the perfect place for our large family to gather to laugh, eat, play games, enjoy the hot tub and outdoor fireplace, and make memories.The property was as advertised and exceeded our expectations. Host was very responsive and very helpful we had issue with arcade and they came right away. Only concern was the water it was bad smell water overall might be with the area there since it’s city water nothing host can do

My family had a fantastic stay here this summer! What a wonderful property! Wonderfully renovated and cozy. Big kitchen area and huge dining room table for big family meals. Tons of space outside as well for meals with the 2 tables. Great fire pit with chairs and the grill fired up right away and was great!The fun room was an instant hit along with the video games. It was hard to pull the kids away when it was time to leave! All the bedrooms were great - we all slept like rocks. Beds are comfortable and we particularly liked the basement king - a great sleep cave! Location was great too - not far from all the area has to offer. Quick trips to Ithaca were a breeze and Watkins isn't too far as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Overall, we had a good stay, but we would not stay here again. Small items added up and made the experience not worth the price paid. Pros:- Clean throughout- Easy Check-in / Check-out- Quick responsiveness from host- A/C window units in each bedroom- Great firepit set-up- Hot showers- Good array of cookware - Enough tableware for 12- Multiple coffee making options- Plenty of bottled water providedCons: - Well water: safe to drink, but bad tasting- Hot water had sulfur smell- Downstairs had a damp, slightly mildew smell- Low quality floor repair at kitchen; divots created slight tripping hazard- Unsecured dishwasher caused whole unit to tip forward when door was open- Button on kitchen sink shot water into the air (should be disabled)- Stain on kitchen ceiling from repeated water shooting into the air- Low water pressure in upstairs shower- Downstairs shower Hot/Cold plumbed reversed- Battery powered bedside lights out of battery in at least 3 bedrooms- Confusing light switches with no labels or house manual

We also appreciate your suggestions and have already addressed several of the maintenance items you mentioned, including the sink sprayer, dishwasher, lighting, and shower concerns. As noted in our listing, the home is on well water, which is common in this area and completely safe to drink, though we understand it may taste different than city water—which is why we also provide complimentary bottled water for our guests.
