The house is so beautiful! Everything you need! Completely remodeled. Central to Everything to do and see. Bathrooms stocked! Plenty of towels, pillows, soaps etc. Kareen our host is so amazing and made our trip care free!! Beautiful sunset every night. We will be back in the future!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home and can’t say enough good things about it. Before we arrived, the host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The home itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It had all the amenities we could have asked for and more, including kayaks and paddle boards, which made it so easy to enjoy the water whenever we wanted. Being right on the beach was perfect! The design of the home is modern, stylish, and very comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The location is also ideal, making it easy to explore both the north and south ends of the island. This stay truly exceeded our expectations. In fact, we’re already thinking about our next trip to Long Island and it will absolutely be based on this home’s availability. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect island getaway!

We did!We had rented a different home 10 month’s prior to coming to the Island but due to an unsuitable situation found ourselves homeless.After networking with some of the local homeowners & managers we were put in contact with Kareen, What a Lifesaver! She answered all of our questions promptly & helped us make the booking quickly & smoothly. Slipstream 2.0 was our new Home! What a find!This is a gorgeous new property in a quiet neighborhood on a beautiful beach on the Caribbean side. Centrally located to explore the North or South end of the Island.The home is open and airy with plenty of patio spaces to sit and relax.All the pictures are an accurate reflection of the listing.We really enjoyed morning walks along the sandy beach right outside our door.The kitchen is well stocked with pans & utensils for cooking in should you desire.The sunsets are amazing whether from the house patios or large windows they are magnificent.There are many restaurants nearby:Chez PierreFlava’s Kitchen (Take Away) – 5 minutesA new Coffee Shop -“Dapple” that serves breakfast & lunch. If you happen to be there the day they make cinnamon rolls they are “Life Changing”.Long Island is beautiful, locals are friendly & welcoming!We want to get the secret out for this beautiful new House & GREAT Host!You will not be Disappointed!

We are Arend and Kareen—your hosts! Arend is Bahamian, and Kareen is Jamaican. We live in Florida, and have been married for 20+ wonderful years.

We fell in love with Long Island during COVID, began visiting twice per year, and decided to make it our second home in 2023.

Why they chose this property

The original Slipstream units were built over three slabs in the 1990s and were destroyed by Hurricane Irma in 2015.

What makes this property unique

Tropical Paradise – Over 20 mature coconut and palm trees create a shaded, breezy, picture-perfect setting, with 3 oversized beachside patios. Perfect for sunbathing and outboard entertaining. A pickle ball set is available for guests to use.
   •   On the Water – Step directly onto the calm bay, bypassing natural rocks, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding. and simply unwinding. 2 paddle boards and a 2-person kayak are also available for guests to use.
