House was great — clean, comfortable, everything we needed. The ice machine was awesome and the little screened-in porch out back was perfect for shucking scallops after a day on the water.One heads up: buy the damage insurance. We got charged for two sets of sheets and 250 to unclog an outdoor sink that was already running slow when we arrived — we never reported it because it was draining, just slowly. We also got accused of taking the kitchen knives to shuck scallops, which anyone who's shucked one can tell you is done with a spoon. The knives were where we left them.Great house, but I'm not interested in helping anyone with their insurance fraud.

We never expect our home to have throw-up on a quilt or blood on sheets at check-out. We take inventory before every check-in and check-out. That is how we knew knives were missing. I thought I was being kind by informing you of the situation and sending you pictures. We definitely would never charge a guest for damages they did not cause. It is very rare that we have damage done to our property, but when we do, we expect our guests to pay for it. We have signs in our screened boathouse not to shuck scallops in the sink for the very reason it will clog, which is exactly what happened. Best wishes.

We absolutely loved everything about staying here. The home is so well stocked and so clean- not to mention the beds are incredibly comfortable!! We stay around this area at least four or five times a year and this will definitely be our forever go to home. This is the perfect home for families. Thank you for such a fantastic time.

We absolutely loved our stay. This is probably one of my all time favorite homes we’ve ever rented. The home is even prettier in person, the grounds are beautiful, it’s spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We went to relax and enjoy the water and fishing and my only complaint is I wish we’d stayed longer. Between the 5 of us fishing we probably caught 30 fish and my father in-law thinks he counted 8 different species including a couple crabs and sting rays (not on purpose, ha!).It truly is a gem, the owners responded so quickly whenever I had a question, I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!! We truly enjoyed our time.

We lived in Arizona. I have been coming to Homosassa since 1976. My Aunt and Uncle lived in the area, and my fondest memories as a child were on the Homosassa River. We finally decided to purchase a home where one day we could retire and visit as much as possible.

This property has been completely updated. It has everything to make your fishing trip relaxing and enjoyable. The location is close to all the Hot Spots (Freezer. Shed, Mc Rae's, Old Mill, Publix). Screened in the boathouse with a cleaning station and ice machine—plenty of room to park your boat trailers. You can sit in the screened lanai room and watch the manatees and dolphins.
