Sea Dream location was fantastic. You are equal distance to Ponte Vedra Beach and Old Town St Augustine. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch as the afternoon storms rolled through. So convenient to be steps from the beach. The host reached out the day of our arrival to ensure we had all we needed. The house was very clean and perfect for our family of four. Plenty of kitchen wares to cook in and of course a ton of places to eat out. We were excited one morning to see where a sea turtle had come ashore overnight and laid her eggs. We are looking forward to returning in the near future for some more walks on the beach!

The house is in a fantastic location for a family beach trip. Super easy access to the beach and sunrise watching porch was delightful. The kitchen is functional, and having a washer/dryer was useful. I was able to reach my electric car charging cord to the dryer plug but it was tight. The downstairs bathroom facilities are .... Rustic. But the extra space allowed us to bring more visitors!

Great stay at a great location

The property is at a wonderful location right on the beach. Not too far from St. Augustine and other nearby restaurants in Villano. Check in process was very smooth and host is very responsive.

House was beautiful and right in the ocean. Beautiful bedrooms, kitchen, master room in main house. Great location to just go over the bridge to history, downtown, many restaurants, eateries and distillery.

This was our first time staying at this beach home and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We truly had the most amazing and comfortable stay. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and the house had everything we needed. The temperatures of the home were also very comfortable and we really appreciated the ease of use of the home and the extra linens provided. Check in and out procedures were easy to follow and last but not least, you can’t beat the location or views. You’re steps from the beach which is not crowded, minutes from Jacksonville or St Augustine which has lots to do. We really enjoyed the beach along with the surrounding nature and wildlife. Truly made for a wonderful family vacation that was very relaxing. Thank you for such an amazing stay.

The hosts were excellent- from first booking, to check in, during stay, and check out. They weee quick to respond for some minor issues. The house was clean and neat. Looked like it had been recently painted. It was cozy for 5 women. But we had everything we needed . . Nice big dining table. Comfortable couches. Lots of tvs ) but we didn’t turn them on).Kitchen was well supplied. The downstairs is a bit awkward as the bathroom is a toilet in the laundry room- which is strange after dark. And there were no lamps in the downstairs area. There were new beach chairs available, which was nice. Beach access was easy. Hose for washing feet and chairs was very convenient. Great covered porch . But there is no grassy area with yellow chairs. Perhaps the picture needs to be changed. Parking is tight! - even for 3 cars. It would be nice if there were reflectors or a bright mailbox to make the house easier to find - especially at night.

Gorgeous view!

We just left Sea Dream and already miss it. We had a wonderful vacation with our adult children and their pets at this beautiful home. The first floor bonus room was perfect for my son and his wife and their golden. Million dollar view from the deck. Everything was exactly as described. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This place is a dump.

While the inside was somewhat clean, however the ants in the kitchen were not acceptable. The outside was a total corroded mess, everything is covered in rust.

We are very surprised to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay. We offered to send pest service out as soon as you contacted us about the ants. You declined as you stated "they went away". No other issues were brought to our attention while speaking with you. We do everything possible to address any issues right away to make everyone's stay enjoyable. I really wish you would have let us know as we would have done something about it or offered other solutions. Furthermore, I'm not sure what was a "corroded mess". You certainly did not elaborate. For anyone reading this review, Please take into account that this is the very first 1-star review we have ever received. For that matter, please note that ALL of our other reviews are 4 and 5 stars. We were informed of the ants in the kitchen and we immediately offered to send our pest control company out (all of our houses, including this one, are on a quarterly pest control plan). The next morning around 8:00 am, the guests stated that they had not seen another ant since the night before and asked us NOT to send pest control, so we honored their wishes. Things can happen at a beach house. But we always respond immediately to take care of any issues. We never heard another peep from these folks. To call this house "a dump" is a horrible exaggeration, and frankly, is just malicious. Again, please read all of our other reviews as well.

Sea dream rental

Loved the house had a great time. A few suggestions: the upstairs door lock is very hard to workTook several tries to get door open. An exterminator might be a good idea regularly cause there were rats in the driveway, some snakes and palmetto bugs in the house . We dealt with them but if people are coming with children I would have concerns. Great house being close to beach and ocean. Will probably rent it again in the future.

Much Needed Decompression TIme for All

This was a much needed vacation for my family and the home and location fit our needs. The home was clean, bright and welcoming. The only item we purchased to help with the trip was a removable gate for the stairway as we had our dogs with us and two small boys - 3 and 4 years old. We purchased a gate that had a door opening so we didn't have to continue to remove the gate each time we went up and down the stairs. Other than that - it was a perfect getaway. Thanks.

Amazing Beach Vacation!

Our stay at Sea Dream was everything we dreamed it would be! Our favorite thing about the week was watching the sunrise over the ocean while drinking our coffee every morning! I can’t put into words just how special the view is from the deck! The ocean is so close to the house that you can hear the waves crashing from inside the house with all the windows and doors closed up! The views from inside are equally as spectacular!! The beach area was perfect and very private and quiet. The home very clean, tastefully decorated, and has updated flooring. David consistently responded quickly to all of my questions. We also enjoyed a special dinner at Cap’s! Some of the best seafood and service we’ve ever had with a truly special ambiance! We will forever cherish our time in Ponte Vedra and all the memories we made here!

Perfectly Peaceful

I'll start with WOW! Best total beach experience in quite a while. Description and pix were accurate. Check in/out was a breeze. David and Daphne were great to deal with and super responsive. The house was very well suited for our family of 4 (older kids 19 and 21) and dog. Everything we needed was provided. Kitchen was perfect for cooking or bringing in. Plenty of restaurants nearby (we hit Cap's, Aunt Kate's, The Reef, and others). Grocery, shops, and ice cream about 10-15 minutes away. All of that was great but you won't want to leave the amazing deck/porch views and practically private beach. I can't say enough how amazing the beach is. If you're looking for a peaceful, serene, beautiful beach, you've found it.

Great beach location

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. We were a group of friends that all agreed the location was fabulous, a beach front house on a very less traveled beach area which was lovely. Even on a holiday weekend, we were amazed how empty the beach was, felt private! The inside was nice and clean. A few things that needs attention- door locks need replaced especially the beach front deck one. Really nice large table that sits 8 but several of the chairs were extremely wobbly and need fixed. Nicely stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor shower. The two things that we struggled with was communication prior to arrival and the rental agreement. No responses to questions in the Vrbo app. Had to call the management company directly prior to arrival after multiple attempts. Felt like the rental agreement was very aggressive and non guest friendly. Luckily we had no issues that would have caused any issues due to the agreement. Outside of that we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and Relaxing Spot

Our Family, consisting of 5 adults and 6 children (ranging from 2-12), stayed comfortably. The house and additional separate bonus on bottom floor were clean and well stocked. One family slept below in separate area-had to go outside to use toilet and showered mostly in outdoor shower-this was clearly explained and expected. The window unit was sufficient to cool it at mid 80’s and temps actually dropped to 40s and still stayed comfortable. There were chairs and some toys in garage. Beautiful views from inside and outside. Beach was really quiet and traffic wasn’t as busy as I expected for A1A. One issue with fired alarm beeping. Rental company told us what to do to stop and dropped off a battery within hours. We signed up for Serenata Beach Club tenant membership. Not amazing resort service but we loved the ability to swim in pools and experience different part of the beach. First time in Saint Augustine and really loved the area. If we visit again would consider this property or another by this company.

Family trip

We arrived after dark. House was exactly as described. There is a king master bedroom upstairs includes a bathroom. 2 other bedrooms upstairs are a queen with very little storage spaces. And 2 twin beds in one room with plenty of storage. The queen room and twin beds room share a bathroom. Kitchen was adequate. Shampoo and conditioner and body wash supplied (and actually very nice). Plenty of paper towels, TP, dish soap And laundry detergent to get started. The front porch was the PERFECT place to sit and watch the sunrise. We saw dolphins most mornings. SEA TURTLES laid eggs while we were there (# 61 laid on June 11). Due to hatch and go to sea in 45-60 days. We left a blow up pool in the basement. Worked WONDERS on the deck for the babies. The grassy seating area in front of the house is not to be cut anymore to help prevent possible erosion. Did not use grill. Nice that any food that is unopened it’s taken to a local food pantry by the housekeepers. The only complaint that I have is that the master bedroom mattress is WAY TOO SOFT for me. So I slept in one of the twins.

Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review! We’re so glad the home met your expectations and that you got to experience those magical moments—like watching dolphins and even witnessing a sea turtle nest being laid! That’s truly special. We're also happy to hear the front porch was a favorite spot and that the amenities made your stay comfortable. We really appreciate the note about the mattress—comfort can definitely be a personal preference, and we’ll take that into consideration. Thanks again for the blow up pool—such a great idea for little ones! We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

Spectacular beach views, needs some TLC

I booked this home because it was beachfront, close to town, pet friendly, and spacious. The home was very clean inside and very well stocked, including grill, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The sunrises were spectacular as we sat on the deck or walked on the nearly empty beach. We enjoyed the warm water and sandy beach. Proximity to St. Augustine was a plus - only 15 minutes to downtown. We took a trolley tour, enjoyed a dolphin cruise, and spent time walking around the historic areas. A Publix grocery store is only about 8 minutes away and was convenient for groceries and other needs. Upon our arrival there were a few issues with some door locks, the outdoor shower, and a severely overgrown beach path and sitting area. However, the manager was very responsive and took care of it ASAP. Any calls to the manager were always quickly answered. My only issue was multiple "little" things that needed fixing/attention. We fully realize that sometimes things just happen. However, it seems these should have been caught before our arrival, particularly the condition of the yard. I won't list all of the issues, some safety related, most were minor, but it was a detraction from an otherwise amazing 5 days. I'm sure mgt would have fixed them all, but we really didn't want strangers in the home while we were trying to relax. I provided a list to them upon checkout. Parking is tight and backing out onto 55 mph A1A can be scary! I would stay here again - just hope it gets some TLC.
