This newly renovated cottage is located in dead end street, surrounded by forest. Main floor welcomes you with modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Dining room table sits 8 to 12, and opens to living room area with wood burning fireplace. One of the four bedrooms is also located on the main floor. It has queen size bed and walk in closet. Main floor has two pcs. Powder Room. Down at the lower level is the family room with Cable TV, Wii. Bedroom with queen size bed and walk in closet. Laundry room. Full bathroom with glass shower. Upstairs has vaulted ceilings. Master bedroom has queen size bed. Second, upstairs bedroom has two single over double bunk beds. Two closets, TV and DVD player. Bathroom with tub/shower.

Enjoy your summer nights by the bonfire, watching shooting stars above.

Why Elizabeth Kolosa chose Ontario

Travelling to the Blue Mountain area multiple times over the course the past few years, our family began to become increasingly infatuated with every unique and stunning aspect the escarpment offered. During the spring, summer, and fall, we would drive up to indulge ourselves with the mentally and physically rejuvenating, and not to mention astoundingly beautiful and unspoiled, walks along the trails that Blue Mountain has offer. The serenity and spirit of the trails as their flora adjusts throughout the seasons is a sight each individual should have the right to behold. In the winter, with skiis and snowboards hitched to the car, our family would drive up in anticipation for an entirely different euphoria: the thrill of hitting the Blue Mountain Resort's famous slopes. The elustrous escarpment that offered year-round fulfillment, coupled with the fairytale-esque, Scandinavian architecture-inspired Blue Mountain Village, had us yearning to invest in a permanent place here.

So we began searching, looking for a property that would best resonate with all of the qualities mentioned that made Blue Mountain a place to be. It didn't take much time before we stumbled upon that property: a quaint, yet vibrantly brimming abode, soft-spoken and humble in its elegance and majesty. Located at the end of a small unpaved road surrounded by forest, and just before the slope of the escarpment, was our cottage to-be, the abode that felt fundamentally inseparable from all of the experiences that Blue Mountain had to offer.

From the sobering coziness of its refurbished "cottage feel" and nights by the hearth with family and friends, to its inert connection with the outdoors through floor-to-ceiling windows and front and backyard decks, the Blue Cottage offers a variety of unique touches that travellers will surely appreciate.

This home is the perfect getaway spot. Close to town and shops. Clean, quite and had everything you need for your stay !! I loved this home and would go back in a heart beat !! The owner is wonderful and it was great plannig with her.

Family Retreat

We spent two nights here for a relaxing 30 year anniversary get-a-way. We were so happy with this adorable cottage. It was absolutely perfect! It had every amenity we needed: comfy beds, clean and private environment, fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, even a barbecue grill. The location makes everything walk-able even on chilly days.

I had to work remotely a bit during our vacation so we appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi. We've spend great time adventuring nearby - we skied, went to the village, hiked out, and more!

Cannot wait to return, would highly recommend this beautiful cottage. The owner is very prompt in responding to questions, very friendly. See you soon!

Wonderful Ski Vacation

This cozy cottage was the perfect getaway location for our family. The proximity to Blue Mountain, The Village, and Collingwood was perfect. The home had every amenity that we could have needed. Thanks for such a great stay!

Family Getaway

We would highly recommend this place to anyone. It was perfect for our family of 7 and were able to bring our sons dog along. Lots of privacy and plenty of room in the cottage. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful wood burning fireplace, comfortable front and back patio and a spacious backyard with a fire pit. Home away from home. We took our family with us and they are already wanting to book it for another year. Close to Blue Mountain village, 5 minute drive to Collingwood and very close to the scenic caves. Can't get much better than that.

Great, not the best "owner" experience

We recently stay at this cottage. Great spot. Lots of space for the 8 people that stayed here. The mentions of a 10 minute walk to the village are not true. It is a good 20 minutes walk to the village for those keeping a decent pace. Still a very nice and easy walk. Very private cottage, with a great yard and fire pit. Plenty of dishes/cups/cutlery. If you are staying for a longer period of time, I recommend bringing some good knives. And dont forget your firewood!

The downside is that we gave our deposit via an e-transfer and post 4 days of checking out, we have not heard back from the owner at all as to when it will be returned. I am sure all will work out, however it is a bit frustrating not to hear back.

Blue Cottage, The Blue Mountains

This is the second time renting this cottage. It suits our family perfect. There is enough bedrooms for all, and we can bring our dogs. We like that we don't have to worry about being near water with our young grandchildren . We are close to the village, and a short drive to the beach for the kids. The only thing negative that I could say is that it just wasn't as private this year with a new house being built next door to the cottage.

Excellent location for Cross Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, and Downhill Skiing. Close to all amenities, including Ski Resort, Scandinavian Spa, Plunge, Blue Mountain Village (Restaurants and Shopping)

Excellent for Spring/Summer/Fall rentals, great for hiking, bike trails of Georgian Bay and only 15 minute drive to Wasaga Beach.
