The proximity to the beach was great and we loved the pool. Just wish it was heated. The condo was spotless and we appreciated the thick towels and starter items. Will definitely stay here again.

Summer vacay

Loved staying at this condo, it was close to the beach! Was also so grateful to have found a property that included our dogs which made the trip that much better!

Lovely stay!

This was a perfect location and the unit was great. We took our dog Zuri and she had a blast early in the morning playing in the surf. The property manager was in frequent contact - checking in and checking out was a breeze. Will definitely come again!

Property was great, process was seamless. I will stay here again and definitely recommend it. The access to the beach was an easy 5 minute walk and the property was as pictured. I had no issues whatsoever.

The refrigerator makes a noise constantly….might want to check it out. Also the washer might need to be balanced. Made loud noise when washing.

Nice week

We had a wonderful week. Loved that the condo was a short walk to the beach. Pet friendly made it even better. Although the condo was undated the whole shipyard plantation complex is showing its age. We have not been to shipyard in some 20 some years and nothing on the outside has changed. Could use some updating.

Great Space!

I loved working with the Vacation Co. Customer service gets an A+. 105 Beachwalk was very nice & very clean. The condo had everything that we needed and then some. We took our puppy this trip and they left a care package for her. We also liked the $150 credit towards beach gear. We rented bikes and that process was easy as well. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely stay at this property again.

Nice place, great location!

The condo was nice, and well appointed. Fit our family of 5 comfortably. About a 5-minute walk to the beach! They left everything we could have needed, coffee, filters, shampoo, detergent, etc. There unfortunately was not extra sheets for the pull-out sofa, or any extra blankets in the condo. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

The location of the property was perfect. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. The pool was very close as well. The only thing that wasn't perfect were the quality of the beds. I would suggest getting those upgraded soon. The couch in the living room was a bit worn as well. Other than that the property was amazing. I would recommend to anyone with a family and we will be staying there again for sure.

They make you sign extra documents

The host makes you sign about 5-10 pages of additional legal documents from a rental company called “The Vacation Company” outside of Vrbo. I did not enjoy that as I’ve never had to do that with any other 4 night stay.

However, the property is advertised on VRBO, therefore the rental agreement that you signed was in relation to The Vacation Company's policies. This is regardless of the number of nights stayed.

Well located, spacious, comfortable. Housekeeping was lacking: burnt out lightbulbs, no extra batteries, dubious cleanliness, premises are dated, bathrooms need updating. Poor ventilation. Couldn’t open bedroom windows so called Chris. Screen was broken.

Wonderful Windy Sensational Sunrise

Hilton head is absolutely beautiful. No surprise we visit every year. Vacation company is above and beyond in attention to details. Although we did not have to contact them with any issues, they were so proactive in communicating with instruction, vacation rentals, gift package for the pets, etc. etc. The unit itself, was so well equipped, and the floorplan was perfect for us. We really enjoy the location of the beach walk. Now the negatives. There were none! Maybe we could complain a little about the wind, but there’s only one who is in control of that.

Super clean Excellent property

Was at the property in January 2024 with my wife. Super clean and nice. Only a few minor issues with the dinette chairs and bar stool, very wobbly. I bought some Allen Wrenches and tightened them but after 3 weeks of use they were wobbly again. Not safe for overweight people. I left the wrenches in a kitchen drawer. Also didn’t have a good wisk or cutting board so we bought them and left them too. Relatively close to the beach, 10 minute walk. We’d stay there again.

Updated property

Beach walk condos have been there for decades, and this one was obviously updated. It is an end unit and has six or seven steps to get into it . The exterior of these units is quite tired and because of the beautiful old trees, parking is tricky. The kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely upgraded. The living room furniture is uncomfortable and is showing signs of wear. It was nice to have patio furniture to enjoy our morning coffee. Wish we had known the style of coffee maker, though…. Would have left the K cups at home and brought ground coffee. Overall, the unit was clean and tidy except for the kitchen floor. When I wiped up some dropped food, the damp paper towel was black!

Great visit to Beachwalk

We have stayed in many units in Beachwalk and this was one of the nicest. The proximity to the beach is outstanding, and the kitchen was well equipped for a rental, if you like to cook on vacation- I would just bring your own good knives. The interior was very clean upon arrival, although the exterior (of the whole complex, really) is in desperate need of work, and the prior occupants had left some gross chairs and other beach items on the stairs that were not cleared out/cleaned up. I gave this a four-star overall for two reasons. First, the furniture is old and uncomfortable, and the backless barstools mentioned by previous reviewers are suitable only for a cocktail if you are feeling lucky, please do not place yourself or a child on them, and the coffee table leg is broken, so if you move it you might lose a finger. Secondly, the washer and dryer are from the turn of the century, so while it's functional, it will take over three hours to dry a load of clothes, and towels will take five. None of these things are dealbreakers and I'd gladly stay there again.

Shipyard is an older community and this unit well relatively well-maintained is older.

The unit is well located and description on the Internet is accurate, though the pictures give it a fresher appearance than reality.

Nice getaway

The interior is updated and clean. Exterior needs some improvements. Plenty of space and nice unit. Enjoyed our stay. First floor unit, although a few steps to up to enter unit. Nice walk-in shower in master bath, tub in hall bath.

Enjoyable stay

The condo was was very clean and spacious.Nice master bedroom and great shower area.Especially appreciated the “extras”,like the dog bones and frisbee for our little pups,the clean beach towels,and toiletries and kitchen extras that were left.Very nice touches to a very nice place!
