The Space:

Enjoy your next Oregon Coast getaway at this beautiful oceanfront house in Gleneden Beach. Public beach access can be found one block north. There are a few restaurants in Gleneden Beach and a golf course and spa at the Salishan Resort one mile north. You'll find a grocery store two and a half miles south along Highway 101 and major shopping and necessities seven miles north in Lincoln City. Head 20 miles south to the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium, one of the premier attractions in the region. Wax Works is 19 miles south as well, where you can see Hollywood legends and historical icons come to life.



The home has a modern interior with comfortable furnishings, a furnished ocean-side deck with a cocktail table, a gas firepit in the middle, and spectacular views of the water. Enjoy such thoughtful details as a private hot tub, a wind-protected and festively lit wood-burning firepit on the street side for outdoor gatherings, and a horseshoe pit for your at-home entertainment. Use the gas grill to cook up a few barbecue favorites, and watch your favorite cable shows or movies on one of the five TVs throughout the house.

Aside from a few maintenance issues, the house was very good. It's best feature is that it is a ground-level, one story home - ideal for mobility impaired retirees. Great for dogs, great for groups, amazing views.

Great House and Location, Poorly Maintained

This location and view is great and the house set up is really nice, but we were super disappointed in the management of the home and the condition of amenities. There is a long list, but several items in the listed amenities were broken and unavailable, there was trash and debris in places, including a stack of PLATE GLASS in the back yard, broken grill, no ice (had to go get), broken decor items, screen door lying on the back porch. Thermostat locked/broken so no adjustments. PRIOR TENANT'S DOG POO IN THE BACK YARD THAT WE HAD TO CLEAN UP. The house was not ready at 4:00 PM check in time - our family had to wait 20 minutes to go in. I complained about all this and spoke with a manager at Vacasa (I think). They offered a comp which made me hopeful they would make it right. Nope. Comp was little. The result? We had fun family time, but I will NOT stay at another Vacasa property again. Ever. They could have made it right - they don't care. Don't recommend.

The view from the house was gorgeous and it is a well designed beach property for a small group. However there are a few issues we want to bring to your attention. The hot tub did not work yesterday; the toilet in small bedroom should be replaced and to flush it you had to hold on to the tank; unpleasant odor in bunk room; refrigerator water and ice dispenser didnā€™t work; toilet seat needs replacement in king room, some of the utensils had to be washed before using and THE SMOKE ALARM WENT OFF at 3 am. A call was made and we were told no one could do anything until.8. So we took the alarm down but the home alarm system kept blaring. A gentlemen did call a bit after 8 but by then we were packed and ready to leave. The stay would have been more enjoyable if the property was better maintained. It was a sad ending to our stay.

Felt at home...

This older house was well maintained and very comfortable. The view is wonderful from the huge front deck that's full of nice furniture, and the hot tub worked fine. We completely enjoyed our stay and getting to know the area and will be back!

Great place for a family with kids.

This is a very nice house with a well stocked kitchen (equipment) and a wonderful view and deck. The hot tub (big) was clean and I'm working order and beach access was very easy, even for a senior. The beds are fairly good and no one had any issues sleeping. Wi-Fi was also good. The house does need some maintenance as we found a couple of cabinet doors ready to come off (especially the kitchen garbage door) as well as a couple of outlets that need to be fixed that are close to dangerous (one in the master bedroom especially). The BBQ needs some repairs as well, one burner is non-functional which may hinder cooking for a bigger group. Overall I would stay here again, it is super close to Lincoln City which is also handy. I hope the owners do a maintenance pass on the house this fall so this little gem doesn't deteriorate.

Amazing Views

Home was clean and had comfortable areas to relax and visit. Kitchen was well stocked and there are a ton of games to choose from. There was a deck remodel that must have recently happened that resulted in the hot tub not being in service and deck not being set up with chair/fire table/bbq etc. Be sure to inquire and plan on bringing your own firewood. The view is amazing from this home with windows on the entire wall facing the ocean

I COULDN'T GO!!!! (Illness)

Reports from the ladies who were able to attend were all quite positive. Everyone loved the location and ocean views. Several mentioned the lack of wash cloths (we will bring our own if needed!!) One cousin is a professional home cleaner and did mention the fan in the bedroom needed attention - maybe a new filter? Also, labels on the garbage and recycle bins outside would help get the items in the right place!! I will be asking for a count of ladies for next year and unless there are more than fit at Neptune's Watch that house is at the top of our list!! Thanks so much for sharing your beach house! To many things wrong

Beautiful view, kitchen stocked, Dirty, very bad master bedroom, 85 degrees in there maintence could not fix, shower pressure excellent, not in master or on suite middle room, not worth the price, outside door would not lock when leaving. Tv, didnā€™t work until maintenance came out to fix. No ice freezer not making ice. Bunk beds you canā€™t sleep on do to the springs, twin beds could only use 1 other mattress sunk on the left. Lots of little things. But beautiful view

Great family home!

We love this beach house, plenty of room for all. The views are amazing and hot tub is great! The ice maker does not work and thereā€™s no ice trays available, just an FYI. We will probably be back this summer! Thank you!

Great place to stay. Great for families!!

The listing is as stated. There IS central heat! Be sure there is firewood on the property. The garage could be cleaned up and only one arcade game worked. There was probably 100 ping pong balls under the shelving unit, behind the washer & dryer etc. The 2nd bedroom shower head needs attention. It's not adjustable. The hot tub was awesome. The view was worth every penny. The beach access is 1/2 block north and you'll need good footing. The kitchen is very well stocked as well as their game selection. The TVs in every room were a plus! We loved it and will stay again!! ā¤ļø
