Great location, easy beach access.
We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The size was just right for our group, and the location was perfect with super easy beach access. Even when the Oregon Coast gave us a rainy day, there were plenty of games and puzzles to keep us entertained inside. The hot tub could have used a little extra attention, but it was still a great way to relax after a day by the ocean. Overall, a fantastic spot that made for a very memorable getaway — we’d definitely stay here again!

We absolutely love this home and our stay. The views and the sounds of the ocean are amazing, the hot tub feels like you are right on the beach and they had it heated for us, the beach access from the backyard is exceptional, the wood-burning fireplace makes for a cozy warm campfire aroma ambience. The kitchen is spacious and bright and had everything we needed to make our meals. There was three of us and we had fun picking our rooms, this home can host many more people very comfortably. The twin bed in a large walk-in closet downstairs was a fun surprise and would thrill a child to have their own secret space. The home and property are clean and very well thought out for hosting; we enjoyed the beach theme touches throughout the home. A great addition would be to have back up outdoor lightbulbs on hand because you never know when they’re gonna go out. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space for a truly special memory making visit to the beach, we are already looking forward to a future stay!

House had all the things we needed for our stay. Great selection of games and books to read in your down time. The only negative for us was it took awhile for the house to warm up. Overall it was a great rental.

Family getaway
We took our kids and grand babies and it was wonderful. The beach access is wonderful! The whole family fit comfortably in this spacious rental. My only issue was the beds were a bit uncomfortable. Make sure if you bring a toddler to pack some outlet safety plugs.

Easy beach access
We enjoyed our stay. The beach access was easy for our older parents and they liked how close to the water we were. It was nice to be able to give them the main floor for bed/bath access and the walk in shower. The daylight basement is perfect with the recroom type setup plus bed/bath. Easy store access loved the wood fireplace.

The best beach access!
Our stay was great! The beach view and access was perfect! House had plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and teenagers! Decently stocked kitchen area, just had to run to the store for consumables like foil and ziplock bags. Good advice was given to start the small heaters in the house as it did take awhile to warm up. Disposal was broken, which made it difficult to keep the sink clean, but we understand things happen. We will recommend this spot to our friends and family! Thanks!

Truly the best
We go to the OR Coast every year and this house was truly our favorite. Our kids asked us endlessly for weeks after returning home if we could buy the house! Haha — they made such great memories there. The location, home, and everything in between was all 10/10 and that’s coming from a semi-picky vacation rental person! Can’t wait to go back — and next time, with a new little guest!

Great spot needs maintenance
Great location, best of the past 3 vrbos we have stayed at. House could use a good cleaning and re-stock of basic items. We were short on towels for the whole stay and had to do laundry daily but as we left we found more towels in the second dryer downstairs. So attention to detail from house keeping would have been nice. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would go back for the location.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more!
This property was PERFECT for my family. I enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen listening to the waves while my boys played ball on the beach. At night we enjoyed playing ping pong and soaking in the hot tube with a beautiful view of the stars. Not to mention the vase amount of books and every board game you could want. The beds were comfy and my kids loved making a fort with the neat corner bunk beds. I can’t wait to book our next stay!

The Oceanstream house was everything my group and I wanted. The bench front property is beautiful and literally steps away from the beach. It was great being able to walk down to "Fishing Rock" and climb around finding awesome rocks and creatures. The inside of the house was extremely comfortable and the hot tub was great! Everything about the rental was great except the hot tub was only at 90 degrees when we arrived and slowly dropped to 80 during the stay. Considering it was a major reason we booked this place we were pretty disappointed.

However, we are very sorry to hear that the hot tub was not working, we did send several maintenance staff over to review this and it needed a part replaced to resolve the issue. Meredith lodging at depoe bay
The stay was good. We booked the house for myself, my 3 sisters and our aging mom. It was not as elderly friendly as i had hoped. Also we did find that some dishes and cooking items( waffle iron) specifically, were dirty when we pulled them out to use. I feel like the kitchen, bathroom etc were not cleaned and maintained the way it should be. We did have a smoke detector that kept beeping from low batteries. I texted the number and did get an immediate response and someone over to take care of it promptly. So that was good. Over all we all had an amazing memorable time that I hope my mom will remember always.

The rental property was well kept and all answers for any questions you would have were already answered and detailed out throughout the house or provided in their agreement. The house has three private bedrooms and then if you are looking to sleep more people or kids, there are 3 bunk-beds provided(total 6 beds). The only issue is beach access, there are stairs down to the beach but they stop about 10 feet shy of actually being on the beach which means you would have to traverse rocks or a muddy hillside for a bit to get to the beach. In no way would it be easily accessible for anyone with mobility concerns.

Family beach trip
Beautiful view and easy, direct access to beach. Expensive, for what you get.
House/kitchen needs update, missing formica on counters, knives dull, BBQ rusted and difficult to work. Chairs on balcony were missing, the ones there were old resin ones, some broken, others paint stained. Luckily the maintenance man was there and able to get into the garage to get out the nicer wicker blue and white chairs that are in the pictures. Carpet on stairway stinks and matted, one bedspread had a crusty stain on it.
Hot tub and hot sauna were nice.
Overall, big enough to hold entire family of 8, the view is what you pay for.
Probably would not stay here again due to cost, or would find a more modern updated home for the price.

Stunning location, dated kitchen
The location of this house on the beach was amazing. The sunset views of the ocean are completely unobstructed and the sounds of the waves were amazing. Access to the beach is right off the back deck. Our kids loved just running out the beach whenever they wanted.
The house has a good amount of space. Three big bedrooms plus a kids playroom/sleeping area with 6 bunk beds. The bunk beds have been updated and are much nicer than the metal-frame ones in the pictures that we saw. You could definitely sleep three families-of-four in this home with no trouble
As others have said, the house is pretty dated. I don't really care about things not being stylish enough, but I do care about functionality. And there were problems with function. The worst offender was the stove. It's an old-school electric coil stovetop that has trouble maintaining a temperature. And the vent hood just vents into the kitchen, so that's completely useless. You aren't going to be able to do much more than boil water with that stove. Given that there aren't many restaurants nearby, I'm not sure what people do for food - especially if you have a large group. Luckily the grill was working so we just ate food that we made on the grill for the most part. The kitchen is also really under-equipped with cooking equipment. And sharp knives are just piled in drawers in stead of a knife block. The whole kitchen needs a massive overhaul. I think we couldn't stay here again just because of the kitchen.
The property management company does a pretty good job with what they have to work with. The grill had full propane tanks and the hot tub was in good working order - that's often not the case at rental homes. The house was pretty clean when we got there with the exception of a couple things we found under beds. I'm sure the cleaning crew is overworked and they are doing the best they can. One annoyance was that most of the glass and dishes we pulled out the cabinets had some dried-on gunk that didn't come off easily. Maybe the dishwasher doesn't work that well. Again with kitchen issues.
The property management company also had a text message service for communicating with them. That was a good way to get questions answered without having to disrupt your vacation by waiting on hold on the phone. It was a nice touch.
The house could be a really amazing property with some updating.
