Nuestra casa está escondida en la pequeña y tranquila aldea de Russbach-Gseng. El pueblo y sus alrededores se encuentran entre un paisaje impresionante y es un gran lugar para unas vacaciones inolvidables. Ya sea que esté buscando un lugar para escapar de todo, unas vacaciones llenas de aventura o un lugar para disfrutar con su familia y amigos, este es un lugar especial.

La casa mide unos 200 m² y el diseño es ideal para dos o más familias. Consiste en:
Planta baja:
Hall de entrada, garaje muy grande (el otro está cerrado con llave por los propietarios), sala de calderas (caldera de pellets de madera), sala de lavado (recientemente decorada), bodega.
Primer piso:
Amplio hall de entrada, cocina, despensa, sala de estar, comedor, habitación doble, habitación doble (literas), baño, aseo, 2 balcones grandes con excelentes vistas a la montaña.
Segunda planta:
Amplio rellano, dos habitaciones dobles, habitación doble con acceso al tercer balcón, sala familiar (cama doble e individual), baño.
Gran jardín y varios balcones para disfrutar de las vistas y el aire de montaña.
WiFi y televisión por cable.

Magic stay

Our stay was fantastic. We really had a great time. The house was perfect for our group (three families). We had a great time skiing, hiking, bob sleighing etc. The neighbour was of great help at any time.

Fine great house nearby ski piste

Nice stay in a quiet municipality. Spacious house. Within walking distance of the slopes, but there is also a ski bus nearby. Nice manager.

Perfect house for our workation

We had a lovely month in this house. Very close to the piste (2 minute drive). Great to have so may rooms for our workdays. Don't expect luxury, but everything was good and everything was there.

Spacious and comfortable house near to the ski resort

Great stay for a skiing week in this house. It was very spacious place with many bedrooms, separate eating room, big kitchen and lounge. In the ground floor there are laundry room and huge garage for two cars. It is also place, where you can store all the skiing equipment.The host Alex is very kind and communicative. Neighbour Sepp is also very friendly and "happy2help" person. If you'd like to spend great holidays, definitely go to that place!

The location of the Balls home in Russbach is great!

The house was perfect for a large family gathering. Except for a couple of mechanical issues our stay was ideal. It is located at the edge of Russbach which gives it the feel of being in the country. A lovely stream is across the street and we had free use of the Wasserpark pool in town everyday because of our rental. We were located in between Abentau's alpine slide and Golling's waterfall on one side and Hallstatt and Gosausee on the east. We enjoyed many outings. The hiking in the area was great. Please be aware that besides once a week garbage pick up, you are responsible for taking your own rubbish away. We found this very inconvenient since we were trying to leave. All in all it was a wonderful rental in a quaint village.

Glad you had a good time and got a feel for Russbach and the area, we think it is great too! New dishwasher, tumble dryer and iron bought this week...along with additional rattan furniture for the balcony at the back (to sit in the shade on those sunny afternoons) brought out from the UK. I hope the advice offered on activities helped with your week.

Het was ontvangst was goed geregeld. De accommodatie heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, maar is wel toe aan een update.Geen gebreken, maar verouderd. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt en een mooie week gehad. Communicatie met de eigenaar is prima.

Sehr großes rustikales Haus. Leider nur eine Dusche. Wir haben schon öfter in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet. Alles ist vorhanden, was man braucht. Nicht weit zur Piste. Der Verwalter Sepp ist super nett und immer ansprechbar.

Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage - wirklich nur kurze Strecke bis zum Einstieg ins Skigebiet! Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und für eine große Gruppe ausreichend! Der Check-In und die Betreuung durch die vor-Ort-Personen war sehr herzlich und ist mit großem Lob für das Engagement zu beschreiben. Grundsätzlich war auch alles sauber gereinigt. Die Nutzung der Garage ist gerade im Winter sehr vorteilhaft. Negativ ist festzuhalten: Es gibt keine Schränke in den Schlafzimmern und zu wenig Möglichkeiten Kleidung aufzuhängen bzw. unterzubringen. Garederobenplatz ist knapp. Möglichkeiten Skisachen zu trocknen sind nicht vorhanden. Das Bad im oberen Stockwerk ist zum duschen nur für Kinder zu benutzen, durch die Dachschräge ist Duschen für Erwachsene nicht möglich. Die Doppelbetten sind jeweils nur mit eine großen Bettdecke ausgestattet - ist ok, aber gut vorher zu wissen! Die Matratzen sind schon sehr durchgelegen. Insgesamt ist der Gesamteindruck der Wohnung als „in die Jahre gekommen“ zu beschreiben! Der Teppichboden im Flur zeigt deutliche Abnutzungsspuren. Im Bad im unteren Stockwerk wurde die Dusche und das Waschbecken wohl mal gestrichen- die Farbe löst sich jedoch deutlich ab.

I am pleased that you appreciated the size of the house and the way in which you were hosted. It is a pity that the two wardrobes (one on each of the first and second floors) and also the numerous coat hooks in the rooms were not enough for your liking. Most guests use the garage or wash room to dry out ski equipment but the house is not advertised as having such facilities. I am hopeful that the various photographs of the house are accurate (for example the upstairs bathroom is shown and also the bedding is visible). With best wishes

Rustikales Haus mit Charm

Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und für den Preis unschlagbar. Es ist schon etwas älter und ein zwei Dinge könnten mal renoviert werden. Für eine Woche Skiurlaub ist es aber super und gemütlich.

Super Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt war grandios. Das Haus hatte alles was wir benötigten, war sehr sauber, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das störte nicht. Unzählige Spiele, einen großen Balkon, Garage, Gebrauchsutensilien wie zb. Müllbeutel, Gewürze uvm. waren vorhanden.Der Nachbar war immer bei Fragen erreichbar und konnte uns jederzeit weiterhelfen.Gerne wieder :)

Wir waren das erste Mal in dieser Unterkunft. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig an einem Bach. Besonders gut hat uns die grosse Terasse mit Blick auf die Berge gefallen. Insgesamt ist es etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte an der ein oder anderen Stelle renoviert werden. Der Empfang von Sepp war herzlich und unkompliziert. In der Nähe gibt es viel zu erleben. Das Naturbad war unser Highlight.

Gemütliche Unterkunft

Wir kannten die Unterkunft bereits. Waren letztes Jahr bereits sehr zufrieden. Einige Renovierungen würden vorgenommen. Alles in allem aber weiterhin ein großes Haus im 90 er Charme. Für uns absolut ausreichend mit genügend Platz und kurzer Weg zum Skilift. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Sehr viel Platz

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit: Erwachsene und Kinder haben es genosssen, so viel Platz zu haben. Die große Terrasse war auch herrlich in der Sonne für groß und klein. Und sehr praktisch ist der große Waschraum im Erdgeschoß, in dem man Schuhe und nasses Gewand gut unterbringen kann. Dass einiges in dem Haus schon recht in die Jahre gekommen ist, hat uns nicht gestört. Einfach zu verbessern wäre aber Folgendes: Mehr Haken oder Stangen in den Badezimmern für Handtücher, sowie Haken, Regale und auch Tische in den Zimmern wären praktisch. Es gibt wenig Platz, wo man Dinge verstauen kann. Auch in der Küche oder im Ess- und Wohnzimmer sind die meisten Laden und Schränke voll. Aber wir haben uns arrangiert und waren mit unserem Aufenthalt und der Betreuung durch Sepp sehr zufrieden.

Wunderschönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir waren mit 3 Familien in diesem sehr geräumigen Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Die Betreuung durch den Hausverwalter Sepp war sehr zuvorkommend und zuverlässig. Ausflugsziele und Wanderungen sind zahlreich vorhanden, mit der Gästekarte auch einige Rabatte möglich. Ausdrückliche Empfehlung!

Fijne grote woning, wel enigszins verouderd

Het is een fijne ruime woning voor een grote groep mensen. De ski bus stopt vlakbij maar het lopen naar de piste is zeker ook te doen. Het is een mooi gebied om met de familie te gaan skiën. Er is weinig apres ski aan het einde van de dag, maar daar kiezen wij dan ook niet voor. De woning zelf is fijn maar wel verouderd. Dit mocht bij ons de pret niet drukken, echter is het wel fijn als de veiligheid niet uit het oog wordt verloren. Zelf de douchekop op eenvoudige wijze gerepareerd zodat deze opgehangen kon worden. Ondanks melding vorig jaar geen vernieuwing(en) van badkamer. We komen zeker terug.

Thank you for your feedback. I was not aware that the shower head in the shower room was broken (it seemed to be fine for previous guests) but will certainly look to get that fixed. LIkewise, the bathrooms are due to be refurbished in due course, although there are reasons why this was not done in the last year. Hopefully, you noticed some of the other improvements to the house since your last visit.

Eine tolle Woche im gemütlichen Ferienhaus

Kommunikation mit Vermieter vorbildlich. Check-in Top! Danke Sepp. Lage perfekt- 2 min mit Auto zur Liftstation. 5 min zu Fuss zum nächsten Restaurant. Haus mit genügend Platz für 3 Familien a 4 Personen. Die Einrichtung ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen. Das hat uns aber nicht wirklich gestört. Der Teppich im oberen Bad sollte vielleicht mal entfernt werden (ziemlich retro;)). Sitzkissen im Essensraum unbedingt mal tauschen. Das ist aber weniger Kritik eher als Hinweis zu verstehen, da wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis trotzdem super. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Een ruim en goed ingericht woonhuis. Geschikt voor grote families.

Eigenaar en naast wonende beheerder doen er alles aan om verblijf aangenaam te maken. Huis wordt langzamerhand vernieuwd, maar zeker met kleine kinderen is dit geen probleem. Zeer goed bevallen, als vrij is zouden we zeker weer komen.

Grand, spacieux, très agréable et facile d'accès ! On voit que c'est un chalet appartenant à une famille, car il n'a pas le côté impersonnel que l'on rencontre dans d'autres locations.

We are both teachers in independent schools. We have three sons and the house is very much our holiday house. We have a love of the mountains, both for skiing and summer fun of walking, mountain biking, swimming in lakes etc etc (and, of course, climbing for Alex!).

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The location, being on the outskirts of a traditional village but also so close to the lifts of the Dachstein West. The space inside also allows for everyone to get on with whatever they are doing without feeling too cramped.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

A traditional house in the very friendly village of Russbach. It is in a quiet location but also only five hundred metres from the bottom of the nearest nearest slope and only one kilometre from the Hornbahn Ski Station. The house has plenty of space for two or more families to stay together without getting in each other's way. As for the summer, there is so much to do: active adventure in the mountains, fun for the children, culture in adundance or just relax and unwind on one of the balconies and admire the views!!!
