About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Studio Loft. Ideal for a couple but will sleep up to 4

Fall is here! Cool weather! Hiking, biking, fishing! So much to do!! See the trees turning gold! Relax in Mammoth Lakes!

We do offer a 2 night stay for a quick weekend getaway. Not listed so please inquire for nightly rate.

We are located within 3/4mi from the Village (The Village is Mammoths main area for food, shops and night life). The towns bike/walking path is located just down the street. Lakes basin (multiple lakes and trailheads) is located 10 minutes up the road.

Yosemite National Park east entrance (Tioga) is located approx 1 hr away.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Studio Loft. Ideal for a couple but will sleep up to 4

**Four people max occupancy!! We don't want any more than that please.

We are located approx 1/2 mile from Canyon Lodge and 3/4 mi from the Village, Mammoth's premiere location for food, drink and nightlife.

At our condo we offer WiFi for those who need it for work, recreation or maybe netflix (we use it for all).

Our condo is a warm and inviting 700 sq ft 1 bath, 1 loft bedroom unit. Ideal for a couples getaway but will sleep 4 comfortably.

Upstairs loft has a queen size bed, separate bath, walk in shower, blow dryer, bath towels, and is stocked with non-personal toiletries. Extra freshly washed linens and blankets are available in addition to your freshly made bed.

The downstairs has a cozy couch/pull out sleeper, fireplace and stocked firewood, flat screen HDTV with DVR/Blu-ray, movie collection and games and Wi-Fi. Vaulted ceilings and south facing dual pane windows that let the light in all day (if you like).

The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, auto-timer coffee maker and a crock pot for slow cooking while you are out-- hiking/fishing/skiing! There is a full size table that seats 4.

We pride ourselves in offering a clean, well-organized and clutter free unit. We know from experience there is nothing worse than booking a place for a nice restful vacation, driving for hours, only to be welcomed by a less then clean condo.

A couple of aspects about this location we found so appealing were first, it is quiet and peaceful, and second, the convenient parking/unloading/loading. Two parking spots are reserved for you just outside the door. After a long day you will NOT have to search for parking and trudge-- with your gear-- across the lot, up stairs, down a corridor, etc. It's nice to be able to back right up to the front door.

We are only 1/2 mile from the popular Canyon Lodge and Mammoth's Village. We are also just down the street from the city's free shuttle system and paved bike trails (with miles of riding/walking/running).

Last but not least, let's not forget the spa--there are plenty of over sized spa towels in the unit so you have to get over to the hot tub!

Please note: We charge for a basic cleaning (change sheets, linens, vacuum, etc.) Cleaning does not cover excessive mess...I.E. food and stains. Overly messy oven, microwave mess or stained lines, carpets...etc. will be charged for accordingly.

You will feel right at home here! Feel free to contact us with any questions.

About Ed Davis

Hi, we are Janette and Ed; we love hiking, backpacking, cycling, fly fishing...and skiing. We've been coming up to Mammoth and the surrounding area for years. We love it and the people that live and come here plus the fresh air and sunshine.

Ed Davis purchased this condo in 2013

Why Ed Davis chose Mammoth Mountain

We were looking for a place close to the ski areas. When this property became available we felt fortunate and were able to finally fulfill a dream of owning a place up here.

What makes this condo unique

The unique benefits would have to be the year round activities available right out your front door. Winter time has some of the best skiing around, snowmobiling or cross country skiing. Spring, Summer and Fall provide a whole different menu to choose from like Skiing, Cycling, Hiking, Fishing --all minutes from the front door. Mammoth has one of the countries premiere Mtn Bike Parks. It offers complete packages that will outfit you with a bike and all the gear. You just show up and have fun! Also the town of Mammoth hosts a wide array of social activities. There is always something going on. Specific to the unit, we love it compared to others because it is on the ground level, is open and airy with vaulted ceilings, has plenty of windows, is bright and sunny and has great parking. Plus the complex is not too big and is really clean. Definitely a hidden little treasure.

A great place that's close to Canyon Lodge!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Ed and Janette's place. We like that it's clean and comfortable. A huge plus is that one's car is only ten steps from the front door! Lugging ski gear in and out never got easier. There's a wet-shoe tray and lots of coat hooks by the heater for damp clothes. It's a super cozy place that we feel very relaxed in. Ed is a great host who is quick to respond. He gave us clear instructions on how to get there as well as how to check in. And he was very fast refunding our security deposit. We're sure to stay here again!

This place was Great for the two of us skiers. The condo was close to resorts and the free public transportation to get you there and all shopping. We would recommend this place to anyone at anytime of the season.

Clean, charming place.

  • 5 of 5

These folks have their act together. The place was well stocked with anything you might need. Clean and simple yet very accommodating. The communication leading up to the rental was perfect. One of the better VRBO's we have stayed at. Shuttle stop just behind the condo. We parked our car and never used it. The mountain is about a 15 minute walk away. Great location, clean condo, friendly people. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Mammoth.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

This condo offered us just the right amount of space for my husband and I. It features a kitchen area with all the amenities you need to cook. Living area was nice with a great fire burning stove to warm up the place. Upstairs had a queen bed that featured warmers in the sheets, what a great treat when you come in from the cold. Overall experience was A+

We really enjoyed out time at this Cozy/Clean Condo. Thank you to the owners for opening your home to us.

Clean, Cozy Condo

  • 5 of 5

Great place, cabinets and closets were labeled to help locate needed items. Everything from the remote controllers to the snow shovels and items in the utility closet were labeled with directions and other needed information.

Condo was well stocked. We brought our own toiletries, food, DVD's, games, etc., but most of these things were already there for guest use.

The condition of the condo was excellent. The "Clean and Cozy" moniker definitely fits this family oriented unit. Just down the street from the Canyon Lodge, the location is also convenient.

Friendly advice from the owners was always available. During our visit we had heavy snow storms, both Janette and Ed were easy to contact. It didn't matter if it was for snow plowing schedules, directions around town or help with finding a good restaurant, they were very obliging and responsive every time we needed help.

Definitely will be back ...Todd and family
