We brought a group of high school students from our church for our fall retreat. Everyone LOVED the house. It had something for everyone. A few even tried the paddle boards which were a huge hit. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we could have needed. We highly recommend it for any group!

As clean a place as you will ever see. Beautiful property and land. We had a great time lots of things to do with the family. I will be sure to make my stay at this property a yearly thing for Mother’s Day.

Amazing vacation home and experience. Well designed home with huge covered porches overlooking the heated pool, fire pit and private point lot. Great location on Smith Mountain Lake with clear deep water. Thank you!

Best family vacation we’ve had, no question.The house and the location were both spectacular. Appreciate you guys answering my questions about the lake level before we booked. You said the dock would still be in deep water and you were right, we had the boat and the jet ski in and out all week with no problems.My grandson basically lived in the pool. The rest of us kept busy with the hot tub, the fire pit at night, and plenty of air hockey and ping pong. The covered porch was probably our favorite spot, we were out there most evenings.We usually do a beach vacation every summer, but after this week I think the lake is going to win out. Hope to book with you again.

Most wonderful place for our large family gathering. Lots of parking for cars, Beds were all comfortable. Baths nicely designed. Big kitchen with large pantry. Super clean throughout, and we all skip shoes in the house. Plenty of dinnerware. Pool and hot-tub delightful. Outside gas grill and flat top essential. Lots of inside and outside gaming. Easy walk down to dock. Deep water for swimming and boating. Lake is low, but owner installed tall ladder for safe access from fixed dock down to floating dock. Internet and TVs worked well. That’s the short and sweet of it. We will be back again.

House was set up wonderful,very roomy.Beautiful location on the lake.Kitchen had plenty of untensils and pots and pans.Water pressure is pretty bad in all rooms.Hot Tub was dirty and smelled bad,finally the two days before we left the pool guy showed up and drained and cleaned it for us.Also do bring your own firewood as there is No gas fire pit,but Mike the host did have some wood delivered to us promptly and the kids were thrilled with s’mores.The whole family ages 2 -68 really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and jumping from the dock.We are usually a Ocean beachfront vacation family so we gave the Lake living a try and we did really enjoyed it at SML.We will definitely consider lake living again. WE ENJOYED THIS PROPERTY. MULTIPLE FAMILY MEMBERS SAID IT WAS THE BEST IN OUR LAST 20 YEARS OF SUMMER VACATIONS TOGETHER. THE PRIOR GUESTS APPARENTLY DID NOT CHECK OUT ON TIME AND THIS FORCED THE CLEANERS TO ADJUST THEIR CLEANING SCHEDULE FROM THE FIRST JOB OF THE THE DAY TO THE LAST CLEANING. WE HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR AND A HALF BEYOND THE 4 PM CHECK-IN.THIS IS A TRUE BUMMER WITH KIDS AND GRANDCHILDREN TRYING TO KEEP IT TOGETHER IN THE OVER 90 DEGREE DAY.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. WE WOULD DEFINITELY BOOK THIS LOCATION AGAIN.PS: The cleaning company did work with us and did let my wife and I wait inside prior to 4 pm. The air conditioning was a blessing and allowed us to get our old bones out of our vehicle. We eventually went back to our vehicle because the cleaners needed to vacuum. Kudos to them.

Sunset Pointe Estate is INCREDIBLE! The house is so beautifully laid out, decorated and furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed and having two grills to cook on was so nice. The outside amenities are wonderful! We enjoyed lounging in the pool, playing ping pong and corn hole, and watching the NBA finals from the hot tub! There are nice outdoor seating areas, too. The arcade games were fun for a little competition! The two tiered dock is great and I'm sure it's normally very accessible but the lake is low this summer and the floating dock didn't reach the stairs. However, we emailed the host and they had a ladder delivered the next day which worked perfectly! They were EXCELLENT with communication from the moment we booked the home. It was the perfect, peaceful location for our extended family! If we ever go back to Smith Mountain Lake, we will check the availability of this home first. Don't hesitate...just book it!

This property was perfect for our family. The views were beautiful and full of wildlife. The pool, hot tub, and firepit enhanced our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone, with an arcade area that was lots of fun! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and there were many places to gather and eat together. It was a relaxing and peaceful location. I highly recommend it! This is our second stay with the property owners, and both houses were fantastic! You will not be disappointed. There were a few essentials provided to start us off, like dish towels, laundry packs, toilet paper, hand soap, sponges, and paper towels. Outside, there’s a gas grill and flat top griddle. The property also features an ice maker, two full-size refrigerators, and a small wine cooler. We will definitely stay here again! We love this property, and Mike was very friendly and helpful, with an easy and smooth check-in and check-out. We give it 10 stars!!

We had a great stay! The house was huge, extremely clean, and in the perfect location. The pool and hot tub were amazing, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids especially loved the lower level, which had plenty of entertainment to keep them busy. Overall, it was a perfect setup for our family, and we would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house and the location on the lake (you can use doordash and instacart, which we love). We had 4 families with kids and had plenty of space, and the house had a lot of stuff to do. We would stay here again for sure!
