Rob offers a great home for a group gathering. More than enough amenities both indoor and outdoor to enjoy. Having visited multiple times, I’m always impressed that new features continue to be added and enhanced to make the stay as convenient as possible (like the large kitchen rack!). The property is very spacious with a nice dock and beautiful views. Many thanks for hosting our party again!

Gorgeous property with incredible views. This place has absolutely everything you could need for a great vacation at the lake. There are so many little details that made our stay easy and comfortable (ex: labeled light switches and kitchen cabinets!) we hope to return and make more memories!

This is our third year in a row bringing a large group of seniors to this home. Our residents are of widely varying care levels, from independent to wheelchair bound, of all cognitive abilities. This house is always an accessible oasis for us and has made it possible for us to bring our folks out of their normal care environment, and out to have a grand adventure!

We had wonderful time at Heron Point home at Smith Mountain Lake. The house is perfectly situated on a beautiful location at SML. The house is exceptionally built and can easily accommodated the 18 family members who shared the house with us. We have used this house about 8 times over the last 8 years and found it to be the perfect place for our family vacation. The owner Rpb Saunders has continued to improve the location with better landscaping, outdoor shower, and many other upgrades over the year. We are already planning to return during the summer of 2027.

This property is FABULOUS! Location - Cleanliness - Amenities - Ease of Use - Boat Dock, all top notch. Most importantly, owner responded promptly whenever we had a question. And don’t even get me started on the kitchen. Had to feed 16 adults three meals daily and the kitchen is very well stocked and every drawer and door is labeled with what’s inside. The owner also labeled every light and fan switch so no having to guess what it’s for. Now let’s get down to the most important feature - THE VIEW! Oh my heavens, it is spectacular! Best we’ve ever experienced. Family vote was unanimous, we’re coming back next year !!

Beautiful home. Amazing views. Great attention to detail in all aspects. Every imaginable cooking need was covered. Loved the labeled cabinets. Game room and home theater offered tons of options when rain kept us indoors. Hope to visit again.

This is an absolutely stunning property. We had a great family reunion at Heron Point. The dock and hot tub were our favorite features. The views were fabulous from all the decks and the fire pit was great fun.
