About the property

Super Clean / Comfortable / Sleeps 6

Welcome to Cabo San Lucas, Los Cabos, a world-class travel destination at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula. Los Cabos is made up of two cities, cosmopolitan Cabo San Lucas and colonial-style San Jose del Cabo, the Tourist Corridor, a 20-mile stretch of beaches and luxurious resorts that connects them.

Nestled in the cliffs overlooking the ocean, this beautiful 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo features panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez. From the moment you arrive you'll feel the difference as you enjoy spectacular sunrises from your private terrace every morning and beautiful sunsets every evening.

The living room and master bedroom offer panoramic ocean views! This unit has an open floor plan and guests can enjoy each other’s company whether they are in the living room, sending an e-mail from the desk, mixing margarita’s in the amply equipped kitchen or grilling a culinary masterpiece on the gas grill on the terrace.

The large master bedroom features a king size bed, new quality mattress, linens, sufficient storage and it’s own private bath. Sliding glass doors open to your condo’s private terrace!

The 2nd bedroom offers both a queen and twin bed with new quality mattresses, linens, it's own private bathroom, plenty of storage and the units enclosed washer & dryer.

This is a very special non-smoking condo that offers plenty of room for a family of six or privacy for two couples. And, yes, you can hear the sounds of the ocean as you sleep at night.

Located at Misiones del Cabo, this beach resort offers an exceptional location, dramatic views, safe swimming on a private beach and a wide range of guest services including an onsite property manager and concierge for your convenience.

The resort features a guarded, gated entrance, large swimming pool, swim-up palapa bar, grill and restaurants. The palapa bar & grill features XM satellite radio, satellite TV and free wireless internet service. Wednesday night showcases an all you can eat Mexican buffet for $8 per person and Friday’s special is fresh fish “catch of the day” for $8 per person!

The resort’s private beach is in a protected cove just a 2 minute walk from the condo. Swim, sunbathe, picnic or snorkel (colorful fish are abundant). You will never encounter beach vendors here like you will on the main beaches.

Costco is located less than a mile away, and with the addition of a Wal Mart Super Center, Sams Club, Mega, and City Club supermarkets you'll be able to purchase almost any grocery item you can imagine.

Misiones is a very relaxing and secluded resort. If you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation with your family or someone special, I think you'll find Misiones to be the perfect place. If you like to party hard, drink shots of tequila and dance to loud music, Misiones is only 5 minutes from the downtown Cabo action!

About Jeff Collins

We are both Wisconsin natives and look forward to some day spending our winter's in Cabo San Lucas! We fell in love with Mexico when we first vacationed there with our 3 children more than 10 years ago!

Jeff Collins purchased this condo in 2013

Why Jeff Collins chose Baja California Sur

After years of searching, and a little help from my brother and his wife, we found Cabo and Misiones Resort to be the perfect blend for relaxing in an ideal climate with resort like amenities and yet only minutes to the never ending party in downtown Cabo or San Jose!

What makes this condo unique

Cabo is famous for it's sun drenched 85 degree days and beautiful sunrise and sunset views! Misiones has so much to offer in one location. Views, private beaches with snorkeling and surfing, two pools with swim-up bars & grills, 3 fabulous restaurants within easy walking distance and a concierge (Jose) to help plan for those special activities like deep sea fishing, winery tours, golf reservations or just where to get a good pizza!

As a well-known destination for both A-list travelers in need of a getaway & spring breakers, Cabo San Lucas is a definite vacation must. The beaches here range from the serene aqua blue waters of the Sea of Cortez and Playa del Amor to the kickin’ waves of Zippers, a surfing paradise.

Cabo San Lucas has a well-earned reputation for rowdy, uninhibited nightlife, but the after-dark action in Los Cabos is by no means restricted to the bars, clubs, and cantinas that crowd downtown San Lucas. San José del Cabo and the Tourist Corridor that connects the two cape cities also boast good-time go-to spots, ranging from microbreweries and sports bars to tequila lounges, live music venues, and late-night dance clubs. In fact, the distinguishing characteristic of the Los Cabos nightlife scene may be its seemingly unending variety.

Whether your tastes run to wineries or biker bars, there are plenty of options. Beer aficionados will appreciate local microbreweries like Baja Brewing Company and Ramuri Cerveceria. Wine lovers will definitely want to visit the downtown Los Cabos Winery or check out the wine lists at some of the region's best eateries. Beachgoers will enjoy hanging out at Medano Beach standouts like Mango Deck, The Office, or Baja Cantina; or Zipper's, which overlooks all the surf action at Playa Costa Azul.

Want to keep up with the progress of your favorite football or hockey team? Stop by one of the area's top sports bars (of which there are many). And if your tastes run to Mexican treasures like tequila, let's just say your playground extends throughout the width and breadth of Baja California Sur.

Los Cabos also suffers no shortage of late-night dance clubs and hard rocking live music venues. DJs and up-tempo dance mixes rule the midnight hour at clubs like Cabo Wabo, Pink Kitty, and Squid Roe. Live music lovers, on the other hand, should look to music legends like Sammy Hagar, Gene Simmons, and Paul Stanley. Cabo Wabo has long been a fixture of the San Lucas scene, while the newly opened Rock and Brews in San José del Cabo features enough Kiss memorabilia and electric guitars to thrill visiting rock fans.

For diners seeking a true Mexican culinary experience, authentic restaurants abound. Mexican cuisine, born of the union of pre-Columbian and Spanish cultures is known the world over. Fresh ingredients meld with a cornucopia of chilies and exotic herbs and spices, creating fabulous dishes and enhanced flavor for meals you will be raving about for years! And as Los Cabos grows and evolves, so does the variety of culinary delights. Other Cabo restaurants speak with many accents. Fine Italian, European, American and pan-Asian eateries thrive in diverse and delightful settings. Fresh seafood is a big draw, prepared every way imaginable. Dress up or down, relax, and indulge your palate. Savor the simplicity of a fresh fish taco, or go all out and do the town.

Not crowded, workers were all friendly and accommodating

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and we're very happy with the unit. It was the perfect size for 4 adults, had a great ocean view and had all the necessities needed for cooking, cleaning and exploring the area. We had an issue with the AC when we arrived but Jeff got immediately on the problem and had it fixed, very impressed with him making sure all our accommodations and questions were met.

The only disappointment was the beach area, it is not maintained so there was debris everywhere. Definitely not a place where you can enjoy sitting in the sand and swimming in the ocean. As stated in the description the beach area is rocky and it is not lying. The water was very choppy while we were there are our attempt to go in the ocean resulted in being torn up; legs, arms and hands came out bloody. But the water is crystal clear so if the ocean was calm you would be able to see alot of fish.

Overall, our stay was great and mostly relaxing. Would love to go back if we can stand another 6 hour flight.

Comfortable and away from the hordes

  • 4 of 5

The condo is very comfortable and worked well for our family of five. The kids loved the pools, the closest of which is a few yards away. They also loved the beach even though the water was pretty rough due to an offshore storm.

The only real downside is that the condo and the resort, over all, feel a bit "tired". Both could do with a little updating; nothing dirty or unclean, just a bit worn. But other than that, great spot and friendly staff.

Even nicer than I expected.

  • 5 of 5

I visited this for 7 nights this summer, with my husband, and our 13 and 11 year old son and daughter. Starting out, the owners were so nice and responsive. The place was amazing, we spent a lot of time in the pool and at the swim up bar. There is a view of the pool, it's one of the closest units to its entrance. There is also a second, huge, beautiful infinite edge ocean view pool in the front of the property. The market on site has any last minute groceries and things. We were there several times. There is a little local restaurant next to it, and a very nice restaurant next door. The view is incredible, I couldn't get enough of looking outside our windows on to the ocean, or BBQing on the patio. The private beach is great, we did yoga (on our own) on the beach some mornings, and the kids loved running in to the waves. It's about a $25 cab ride in to town, but we heard that most people rent cars. We chose not to because we didn't want to drive on vacation. I have already recommended this property to some of my coworkers and friends.

Owner's Response: Hi Cassandra, Thank you very much for taking time to share your experience! We are pleased to hear that you were pleasantly surprised and found the condo more than comfortable! Misiones on-site amenities (restaurants, 2 pools, swim-up bar & grill, private beach, general market and friendly staff) are all wonderful and unique to have in a condo complex. Glad you found these resources a convenience and shared them for others considering Misiones as a destination! Thank you so much for referring our condo to your co-workers and friends. Best regards and we hope you return! Jeff & Eileen

Misiones resort Vacation Aug 2017

  • 4 of 5

Our Cabos San Lucas Misiones #5205 condominium stay was very enjoyable, relaxing, and fun. The condo owner Jeff Collins answered ALL our questions within 24hours and provided us information on travel, helpful information, staff information, and all needed information prior to booking . The condo and area is exactly as advertised. The staff, residence, and people we met was nice and hospitable. We enjoyed the condo, beach, pool, and friendly staff. We traveled to downtown Cabos San Lucas for shopping and touristy things by local bus transportation with no issues, Walmart included. The only downside was we prefer fine sand sandy beaches. We travel to resorts each year and we gave Jeff Collins condo and our vacation a high five, another good vacation. Thanks Jeff, Mario, Williams, and all we came in contact with. The Malones...

One of the best places we've ever stayed at.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here with another couple it was perfect. We each had our own bed bath and shower. Every morning we would go out on the balcony and have our coffee and watch the sun rise and watch the Whales swim by and splash. It was incredible. Had a lot of fun at the pool and the bar. The grill and food was delicious and very reasonably priced. It also has a nice secluded beach far away from it all. And a small convenience store where you could get what you need. Had a lot of fun a lot of memories. Good pictures and one of the greatest times. You can't go wrong staying here. Loved it all.
