Clean and Affordable

  • 4 of 5

This condo is conveniently located just across the street from the beach, a short and easy walk. Love the beach, wasn't very crowded and we were there during the week of July 4th. Most importantly, the condo was exceptionally clean!!! The complex itself is also very well maintained. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries and very pleasant to deal with. Would definitely stay here again!

Super clean and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We drove in after dark which was not a good idea: the place kinda looked like scary low-income housing! But in the daylight we saw the well-manicured courtyards and how clean the place was kept. The condo itself was spotless, which is important to me. Not a bug! And that's tough to find in Florida! The furnishings and linens were above average in quality. We are used to traveling, so brought our own coffee and supplies, but there was a basket with coffee and such on the counter, which was very thoughtful. The washer and dryer were great. Wi-fi easy to use and access. It was only my husband, my early teen daughter and I, and that was just the right size. Another child would have been fine, but maybe a little tight for another adult. The beach access across from the unit is a ridiculously long hike up and down several flights of nice wooden stairs. After the first night visit to the beach via that route, we more easily drove our car and beach gear a mere 1/4 mile away to a public beach access with parking which has showers and bathrooms, a Kangaroo across the street and surf-shop and a café next door, and a short walk to the beach. It's a great beach! We ended up not using the pool, but it looked big and clean with adequate seating. We had no disturbances from any neighbors and could barely hear the highway from within the condo (the last unit near the road). I like the location of Crescent Beach as it has plenty of restaurants and options, but feels small and quaint. We enjoyed Viola's Restaurant most. St. Augustine is just 8-10 miles away, as is Walmart and everything else. John, the manager communicated well with us before we came and called to check on us while there. There is also a custom-made book with instructions and advice and recommendations in and for the condo. I'd go back again!

Peerfect location & everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

The Pelican Inlet Condo is clean comfy & complete. It is has everything you need including a large pool. The location is great with an ocean access across the street and a boat ramp just behind it. Lots of parking for your boat & trailer too.

Crescent Beach is an old quiet beach town with a few restaurants and a gas station right there.

St. Augustine Beach is close enough to shop or dine.

Boating & fishing in the area is great. Be careful if you go into the back country because the tides change quickly. Small boats and kayaks work great here.

Genung's marina is right up the street, an old time marina with old Florida flavor & service. With an honest great boat mechanic too. You can get live bait, tackle and keep your boat in the water for $15 per night.

Matanzas Inlet is a 10 minute boat ride away. There is endless water to fish in either direction. If you don't have any luck fishing during the day try after dark along the docks with lights, using light tackle & live shrimp with just enough weight [split shot] to get you down in the water column. Out going tide is best. Cast up from the lighted area and let your bait sink as it comes into the lighted water. Be prepared to stop a big trout or red, because they are there too. We stayed out until we ran out of bait from catching too many fish. [2:30am one night]

Large plentiful Ladyfish will also give you fun on light tackle. We caught 13 different species of fish.

John is a great guy and will double check to make sure everything is going smooth for you.
