Up the stairs to the second level where it opens up to an open concept living / dining and kitchen area. The French doors lead onto the veranda. The spacious loft above looks down into the living area. The master bedroom is located in the rear of the apartment away from the action packed street.

The apartment shares this Victorian home with LuLi’s Cupcakes, which is located on the first floor!

Casa de San Marcos is located right in the middle of St. Augustines historic district. You’re just steps away from antique shopping, food, and all sorts of attractions. Within blocks is the Castillo de San Marcos, Ripleys Believe It Or Not, The Fountain of Youth, Francis Field events, The Old Jail, and much more.

This location is also close to fishing, with the Vilano Pier just a few minutes away. Plenty of places to put in your boat, or rent a charter. Crescent Beach lies to the south a few miles for those looking to relax on a quiet beach, or join the crowds on St. Augustine Beach. Plenty of choices!

Great apartment, Great location and Great owner!

This apartment was perfect for my husband's and my mini vacation in St. Augustine. It was within easy walking distance to Old Towne with it's history, antique shops, restaurants and as an added bonus, we awoke each morning to the heavenly aroma of cookies and cupcakes being freshly baked downstairs in the cupcake shop, Luli's. This lovely apartment also had a balcony with comfortable seating that we enjoyed each morning and evening. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

A Great Vacation Property

This apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed (and more). The staff at the management company were super nice and helpful. It is located in a bustling area with antique and other shops adjacent and some restaurants within a couple minutes walk or less, such as the pizza place next door. Having said that, noise was not an issue at all. The veranda was a great place to relax and enjoy the weather with a book or newspaper. This is located in the Uptown area, so it's about a 15-minute walk to the downtown historic district. We took Uber each day though so it was easy....only about a 6-minute car ride in your car or by Uber with traffic. I have stayed in VRBO properties in various places in the US and around Europe and this was definitely a good one. If there was any slight negative, it would be that the loft area does get warm. The AC definitely cools it down but it makes it pretty chilly in the master bedroom downstairs. If you love AC though, this won't be a problem for you. Would definitely recommend this property!

Great location for exploring

We have never been to St. Augustine and wanted to stay in the city. Very happy with the location - we walked everywhere and never had a concern about where we would park. The apartment is nicely sized and comfortable - we sat on the veranda a lot enjoying the city life. Check in was simple and easy and communications from the property manager were clear.

My reason for not giving the property 5 stars is because it really needs a good hands and knees cleaning.

Loved the balcony.

Easy walk to the historic district and a number of restaurants. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony but didn't expect San Marco Ave to be so busy/noisy. As an older couple we probably would not return, because of the steep stairs going up to the apartment and also the very difficult spiral staircase leading up to the loft.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. The veranda is very nice for people watching or just relaxing. It is of course busy since you are located downtown in the Historic District. All of the old Victorian Homes have stairs and they are not for everyone.
