The property was absolutely beautiful! The kitchen was equipped with everything you will need, including an electric kettle! As a tea drinker, I can't tell you how many properties do not have a kettle, let alone an electric one! The house as a whole was expertly clean and all furnishings were new and so comfy! The fenced in backyard was a lovely surprise for our pup! I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend time in the Berkshire area.
The charming Berkshire retreat is cozy and comfortable! Beautiful surrounding in the backyard, even just looking at it the winter. The kitchen has so many items - crockpot (thanks!!), blender, food processor, hand mixer, high quality cook and bakeware, etc. Beds are awesome and linens lovely. We wish we had found this place before our daughter’s senior year - we would definitely stay again and recommend it highly. Thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was remarkably clean, and we were impressed with the quality of the finishings - linens, bedding, towels, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with high-quality cookware. Clear communication and instructions from the host, and the house was easy to access. We’ll definitely keep this property in mind when we are back in The Berkshires to visit family!
House was great - clean, well stocked, location was ideal and not so far from Williamstown, North Adams, and a market. Plenty of room to spread out, beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space is cool.

A beautiful property! Easy distance to Williamstown and other local attractions. Home was very comfortable. Just wish I had an opportunity to use the backyard!
The home was easy to locate and extremely accessible. Everything was very clean and had all the amenities one could hope for! Simple yet very refined! The backyard was another unexpected delight! Will definitely return!
This was the perfect little spot for our family to stop and stay on our way to dropping our daughter at camp and enjoy Williamstown. Our hike at the Clark Institute was a highlight along with the proximity to downtown’s great restaurants. We were talking about how gorgeous it must be in the fall… when it must be even more scenic and amazing.

It was a pleasure hosting this thoughtful guest and their family. We're so glad they enjoyed their time in Williamstown and made the most of the beautiful surroundings. We'd be happy to welcome them back anytime, especially in the fall when the area is at its most scenic!
GREAT stay! House was so clean, no clutter, comfortable, and had a great layout. The kitchen was the best I have had any any rental. It was sticked with everything you could need, clearly organized, and labeled. They truly thought of everything -- even motion sensor nightlights that go on in the hall when you go to the bathroom at night! The beds were comfortable and great linens and towels. The backyard and surrounding area was beautiful. Part of the yard is fenced in, which was great for our dog and kids, but there is also a nice little brook at the back of the house. The house is very close to the road so I thought the car noice would be an issue but it wasn't at all. The location is very convenient -- we attending a wedding at Bloom Meadows and it was an easy drive. Also great location for lots of hiking and lots of nearby restaurants. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a terrible encounter with the property manager. The listing did not identify that there were steps to the main floor bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and kitchen. In addition, the water smelled like sewage. We ended our stay early due to safety issues.

Sometime after Annabel booked the house, she asked me to confirm there were a couple steps to the front door and that the 2 bedrooms and bathroom were on the first floor, which I confirmed. After she arrived, she was very upset by small steps to the bedroom and bathroom because her father is in a wheelchair – something we did not previously know. She messaged complaining about this 2 days in a row, and I apologized each time. We also immediately added info to the booking site info about these little steps so others would know in case it were a concern. Then she messaged that the water smelled like sulfur, something we have not noticed before and the guest checking out the day before did not tell us. I confirmed to her it is a well and that they do sometimes get sulfur smell. I offered to pay for bottled water for drinking and cooking. She eventually called and yelled and then hung up on me. Once I realized that there was nothing I could do to make her happy, I offered to refund any nights she did not use if she would like to check out early. She took me up on this and checked out 1 night early. This property has 5-star reviews from all other guests. Several groups have stayed there since and none comment on an issue with the water. My team has checked it many times since Annabel checked out and not smelled anything off.

Disliked: Cleanliness
It's a 4-star property despite the 3-stars for my experience. The property is in good shape, has a cozy charm as the pictures indicate. It would be 5-stars if it weren't located on a main road/highway (Route 7). Tractor trailers bomb down the road at 5 am in the morning running the engine brakes along with the hum of the passing cars. If you are heavy sleeper, you will be fine. If not, you will be rattled from your slumber. The experience: I had to reduce another star for the significant hiccup when we arrived (at 530 pm). The place was not cleaned from the previous guests' stay. I contacted the property manager (Tracey), who determined the vrbo system did not notify her of my reservation. She said it never happened before. (It never happened to me either having rented dozens of times from vrbo over the past 20 years). She apologized for the mix up. She offered another property 30 mins south if we wanted to take that option. We decided to stay in the unit and waited for the cleaners to arrive. They arrived at 730 pm. They turned the place and left in less than 90 minutes. We enjoyed (sic) our dinner at home over the smell of Mr. Clean and bleach and the sound of cleaners vacuuming and mopping.
Lovely, very well organized and comfortable home in a beautiful setting. Very, very clean home, comfortable beds and great kitchen! Just a quick drive to museum and campus. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again. Big yard beautiful yard, very kid friendly.
