The Liesi holiday rental (located on the upper floor of the house; access via stairs) offers 33 square metres of space and a wide range of amenities for your holiday on Rügen. In addition to a cosy living area with a flat-screen TV and a comfortable sofa bed, it also features a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen is connected to the living room and is equipped with a stove and plenty of kitchen utensils, such as a toaster, electric kettle, and oven. The apartment’s natural-light bathroom is bright and inviting. In the separate bedroom with a double bed, you can wind down the day in peace. From there, you have access to the sunny balcony. There is a parking space for your car on the property, as well as storage space for your bicycles.

Take the time to explore the picturesque and idyllic countryside around Wreechen. Not far from the holiday rental are Lake Wreechen and the Rügischer Bodden. The natural swimming spots invite you to relax and linger. From here, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the island of Vilm. The island has been a nature reserve since 1936 and has been part of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve since 1990. From March through October, up to 30 visitors a day can join guided hikes to explore the 1 km² island.
Putbus, the youngest town on the island of Rügen, offers a wide-ranging cultural programme for everyone. The Putbus Festival, the Sailing and Harbour Festival, the Rügen Cabaret Regatta, and the Harvest Festival are just a few notable events that are also popular with locals. The castle park is also a great spot for a relaxing stroll. Here you can still see the foundation walls of Putbus Castle. Adjacent to the castle park is an enclosure with red deer and fallow deer.
In Lauterbach, the oldest seaside resort on the island of Rügen, you can buy freshly caught fish directly from the fishermen’s boats. Hop aboard the “Berta” and enjoy one of the best fish sandwiches you can get on the island. The small restaurants serve regional delicacies.
From the harbour, you can take a boat tour and explore the island of Rügen from the water. If you’re not quite sea-worthy, you can also hop on the Rasender Roland and take trips to the Baltic Sea resorts of Binz, Sellin, Baabe, and Göhren. Here you’ll find Rügen’s famous sandy beaches. Enjoy long sunbathing sessions in a cosy beach chair, or take advantage of the activities offered at the sports beaches. You’ll find numerous restaurants and shops here where you can pick up a souvenir to take home from your holiday.
