During the summer months bass boats, wave runners, small pontoons and run abouts will have no problem launching at the ramp just 1 minute away at the bottom of the hill. This is not a good ramp for wake boats unfortunately. During low pool for the lake you can hike the riverbed on hundreds of acres of Corps of Engineer land that is free public use for fishing, boating, hunting and hiking.
