Welcome to the North Sea at the “Schlipf” holiday rental
The house housing the “Schlipf” holiday rental is in a prime location on the northern edge of the North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel, just a few metres from the “Schlafdeich” and close to the banks of the Harle River. The house is also not far from the historic old museum harbour. Carolinensiel-Harlesiel is located directly within the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009.
The “Schlipf” holiday rental is bright and comfortably furnished and decorated. It features a beautiful south-facing terrace, and the amenities are perfectly suited for a wonderful North Sea holiday! For example, there is a lovely, fully equipped kitchen with all the trimmings (including a dishwasher and washing machine), a stylish, modern bathroom, and much more.
Heading north, you can easily reach the tourist attractions around the beach in Harlesiel. In the other direction, you can walk to numerous shopping and dining options around the former sluice and trading port in Carolinensiel, which has now become our idyllic historic museum harbour. The restaurants will treat you to fine East Frisian seafood cuisine, and the cafés offer a relaxed atmosphere.
In the evening, you can sit back with a delicious glass of wine or a cup of East Frisian tea at the museum harbour in Carolinensiel. Well… if you can tear yourself away from your lovely, cosy holiday rental, where you’ll sit on the terrace late into the night on balmy summer evenings and truly unwind.
At the idyllic harbour of Carolinensiel, you’ll enjoy the sight of the flat-bottomed boats or the paddle steamer “Concordia II,” a replica of the old “Concordia I” from 1854. This paddle steamer operates a shuttle service on the Harle River, taking you from the museum harbour past the “Cliner Quelle” spa centre, through the Friedrichsschleuse lock, and on to the marina in Harlesiel on the North Sea.
The North Sea resort of Carolinensiel-Harlesiel offers a wide range of holiday activities for children and adults. The “Cliner Quelle” spa centre features swimming, saltwater baths, and wellness treatments. The Carolinchen Club, located in the spa center’s children’s playhouse, provides fun and games.
Or take a stroll along the Harle Promenade down to the sea for a swim or to soak up the sun.
At low tide, you can enjoy the heated seawater outdoor pool right on the beach. Or go on a mudflat hike with certified mudflat guides—it’s an exciting and relaxing experience for the whole family.
Of course, the beautiful town of Carolinensiel has everything you need for daily life: supermarkets, bakeries, fish markets, a hair salon, a pharmacy, doctors, banks, and many shops offering a wide selection of maritime trinkets or beachwear and accessories.
A day trip to one of the East Frisian Islands is always a special treat; from Carolinensiel, the best route is via Harlesiel to Wangerooge with its beautiful lighthouse. Or why not take off from our small airfield for a scenic flight over the dikes, the North Sea, and the islands?

The apartment was completely renovated in early 2021. 



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
