The Space:

Split your days between the beach and pool when you make this gorgeous retreat your home base seaside holiday. Less than a block from the beach, the home also includes access to an on-site pool, located at the end of the community's private cul-de-sac. There are some great local dining options to discover along 30A and you can explore a pristine slice of Coastal Florida at several nearby state parks, including Grayton Beach, Deer Lake, Camp Helen, and Point Washington State Forest.



At home, sip coffee on the covered front porch, and make the most of sunny skies with happy hours or alfresco meals on the back patio.



The main-floor interior features a spacious, open floor plan with plenty of room to gather. Plan family-style meals with ease in the well-equipped full kitchen, and after the day's adventures, unwind on the living room sectional to stream shows and movies on the smart TV. Modern home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

Very nice property, 3-min walk to the beach 25 stairs down to beach, quiet neighborhood with nice shared pool. Pet friendly but well kept, beach chairs & toys were available. We’d love to stay here again!

We had an amazing 5-day stay here with our family! The house was super clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location — very close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we needed. The beach itself was absolutely beautiful and made our trip even more special.One thing we really appreciated was how clean and fresh the house felt, especially for a pet-friendly property. We didn’t bring our pet and were honestly a little worried at first about possible smells or stains, but there was absolutely no odor, marks, or anything that showed pets had stayed there before. That was a huge positive for us and made the home feel extra well-maintained.The home included beach chairs, which was really convenient, but be sure to bring your own beach towels and umbrellas. They also provide starter supplies like shampoo, soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry detergent, but only enough for about 2 days, so plan to bring extra if you’re staying longer.Overall, we had so much fun and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Cozy Home easy walk to beach

The house was clean and as advertised. We had an issue connecting to the wi-fi but it was quickly resolved. The neighborhood was quiet and low traffic so our kids were able to ride their bikes up and down the road without us worrying about them. The walk to the beach was a quick 5 minutes. We loved having the outdoor shower for getting sand off once back. It really aided in cleaning up our toddlers. We would definitely stay here again.

Follow-up

Place was very clean and had mostly what we needed for our stay, but the fridge water filter's light was red early in our stay. I contacted them on a Saturday, and by late Monday morning, the day we left, it was still not changed. I'm not sure how they are about communication and follow through on everything else, but that was just our experience.

Break at the Beach

Nice place. Great location. Property showing a lot of wear and tear. Some light bulbs out. Made a maintenance request never responded. Lamp broken, table plug broken , sink drain plug in master bathroom needs repaired. Bedding covers aged. Feel owner not being told or either does not care.

Nice!!

Pete’s Place was really nice and in the perfect spot!!! Beach access is right across the street (Campbell St.) and the house was clean. In other reviews there have been claims that is house is lacking in proper items. Hate to say I agree. While we knew to bring our own beach towels etc etc I didn’t think this house would be without a broom. 6 days without a broom between 2 kids and the beach the floors were getting nasty.

Great location. Great property

Very clean. Very well appointed kitchen. Two minute walk to beach. Great outdoor space for dog. Really enjoyed this lovely home. Was advertised as having pool, however when we arrived pool area was locked and closed during Jan and Feb. Quite disappointing. We left March 4 and it still wasn't open. Also power went off for an hour (high winds), and after that the oven didn't work. We reported it. They offered to fix the oven but we declined and said it didn't matter to us ( we used stovetop and mic) but reported it should be fixed for future guests. Also reported that cover on electrical box outside blew off. It had been taped on. My husband put it back in place but no one checked it out while we were there. No one followed up with us. Other than the pool not open as advertised, it is a wonderful home and we would definitely rent it again
