    Absolutely beautiful scenery and very close to Berchtesgaden hiking, lake and other points of interest. The room itself is spacious and very modern, in contrast to the outside of the hotel which looks like most of the charming and traditional Alpine houses that are common to the region. The family that runs the place is very accommodating, and make you feel like you're a friend, rather than a customer. I grabbed a cappuccino and sat out back and enjoyed the Tyrolean scenery in the morning, while watching the couple of goats and sheep frolic across the way. You can crack your window open and lull yourself to sleep with nice nap with the gentle tinkling sound of the small bell on one of the animals. No complaints at all here.
