We’re a Nebraska family who loves making memories at the lake. Over the years, Johnson Lake has become one of our favorite places to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time with family and friends.

We purchased this home in The Cove because we wanted a place where our family could gather around the firepit, spend long days on the water, watch beautiful sunsets, and create memories that would last a lifetime. We love sharing that experience with our guests.

These days, much of our life revolves around helping our daughters pursue their dreams in sports, which means we’re often on the road creating memories of a different kind. It brings us joy to know that while we’re away, other families are gathering here to celebrate, reconnect, relax, and make memories of their own.

Whether you’re visiting for a family vacation, a fishing trip, a girls’ getaway, or simply a relaxing weekend at the lake, our hope is that this little corner of The Cove feels like your home away from home.

Located in The Cove, guests enjoy a more protected area of the lake that is ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and spending time on the water. The private dock, lake access, outdoor gathering spaces, and firepit create countless opportunities for making memories with family and friends.

Our favorite part is that everything naturally happens outside here. Kids spend less time on screens and more time fishing off the dock, swimming, kayaking, playing games, and exploring the lake. Adults find themselves slowing down, enjoying conversations, watching sunsets, and reconnecting with the people who matter most.
