Our family had a wonderful time. The house location is great with excellent river access. Even with 11 people staying we had plenty of space and comfort. We especially appreciated all the extras for indoor and outdoor activities.

House was very clean and spacious for our group. The host was very accomodating and responsive to our needs. The theater room was a big hit with our older kids. We’ll definitely look to return to this property again.

Sanctuary at Rum River was perfect for our large family get-together. All of the house was clean. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunk beds) bathrooms were well appointed. Kitchen was GREAT...nice to have everything labeled on the cabinets, and have plenty of dishware, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Awesome to have the washer and dryer available. Theatre room in the basement was a great bonus. As well as having the garage outfitted with ping pong, foosball, etc. Plenty of space for everyone...really appreciated the large dining area with the 3 tables and enough chairs for all to eat together. Layout of the house also provided some space for the group to separate, so all had a bit of privacy in addition to the common areas of the home. Didn't have much time to take advantage of the river access, but some did get to kayak and spend some time on the river. Very convenient to the stores and shopping in town. Host was very responsive and helpful, without getting in the way. Made for a very enjoyable weekend. Would book it again for future family events.
