About the host
Hosted by Margie Williams
I’m originally from Southern California I moved to year 36 years ago after my husband and I were married to be by his family.
We were blessed with this cottage for several years as a rental and decided to make it into a VRBO property. I enjoy hosting friends and loved ones and this is a way I can share our property with others and have a comfortable place for them to stay when they come to our area.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors surrounding the property. The property also is next to a city park, which is very calming with a spring fed creek running through it.
What makes this property unique
My friend Felecia lived in the Cupcake cottage for a short time before her life ended. She named the cupcake house after picking up cupcakes from a tenant of mine at the time.
My brother and I started a nonprofit which Felecia founded called Helping Hands of Stone Soup. You are welcome to look us up at www.helping hands of Stone Soup.Org we’re on Facebook under the same name. You will find a picture of Felecia sitting in the Crane park by the red bridge that crosses over Spring Creek.
