The location of the house offers numerous opportunities for cycling and hiking as well as trips to Møn, Lolland and Falster. Copenhagen can be reached in an hour by car or by train from Vordingborg. Nature lovers will enjoy a trip to the Avnø nature reserve, where you may be lucky enough to spot seals.
