Enjoy the sound of grazing ponies, the rustling of the wind in the grass and trees, and the warming rays of the sun on your skin.

You can also enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the garden, the covered patio, and through the large panoramic window in the living room.

Many windows facing south to west provide plenty of light and space to enjoy the sun and recharge your batteries.

We’ve renovated our dreamy country house, “Sonnenglück,” with lots of love and passion into a single-story, 100-square-meter gem. It’s located in the heart of the beautiful North Sea peninsula of Eiderstedt in Tetenbüll, between Tönning and Sankt Peter-Ording, with its endless sandy beaches.

Behind the “Sonnenglück” country house is the Kantorhof, a family-run farm with a small agricultural operation and plenty of space to explore and discover.

From our 32-square-meter living and dining room, featuring a large panoramic window and a covered terrace, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on Eiderstedt.

Adjacent to the dining room is a spacious, retro-style kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, an induction stove with oven and range hood, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, as well as a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and a Thermomix 5. A special eye-catcher is the decorated backsplash featuring typical motifs from our vacation region, such as the Westerhever Lighthouse, sheep, lambs, dikes, and the sea.

The two bedrooms have been lovingly furnished with beautiful, restored single beds from the previous century—extended to 2 meters in length—and can accommodate 4 to 5 people.

A bright and modern bathroom with a walk-in shower rounds out the living experience.

In the small utility room, we provide a coin-operated washing machine (2 x €1 coins) for your use.

There is ample parking space for up to three cars right in front of Landhaus Sonnenglück. Right next to it is a small playground with our fire pit, where we regularly enjoy delicious bread on a stick with all our guests.
