Private canal front living nestled in Colington gated community. This coastal canal front home is located in Colington Harbor with close access to the Albemarle Sound. On-site kayaks and paddle boards are included in your rental. Fishing and swimming are an option as well off the wood shoreline dock where the water meets the land. We are a quick 10 minute scenic drive through Colington from the Outer Banks beaches, local restaurants and and shopping.

Our home features costal vibes which include sleeping arrangements with a king bed upstairs, a queen bed on the main level, and a twin bunk bed upstairs perfect for families or groups. Guests enjoy three bathrooms, two which are full tub/shower combo and equipped with a hair dryer for added convenience as well as a basement half bath.

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the back deck while watching the canal life early morning or in the beautiful wooden sitting room featuring a Boho vibe centered around conversation and calmness.

The kitchen is fully equipped with programmable drip coffee maker, small countertop air fryer, toaster, crockpot, nonstick copper pans, casserole pans and blender, as well as ceramic and stainless steel mixing bowls. The outdoor table is for enjoying meals on the back deck with seating for 6 on a comfortable Polywood table and chairs set all within site of the waterline.

Relax in one of the two comfortable living rooms watching your favorite shows or movies on smart TVs either in the main living area or in the basement with a fun foosball table. King and Queen bedrooms also have Roku enabled smart TVs. Wifi available in home to run all of your personal devices or your favorite streaming platforms.

After a day on the water enjoy the comforts of the enclosed outdoor shower and then chill by the cozy fire pit in the private fenced in backyard with four comfortable Adirondack chairs provided or hang out under the outdoor solar lights for under deck seating and conversation in comfortable Polywood Adirondack chairs. Corn hole and ring toss hook are available in the carport area as well for added fun.

There is access to launch a boat and also a sound side beach and playground.

We are a family with two young children and love to make memories in the OBX just like we did as kids with our parents. Something about those salty beach vibes just make all your troubles less worrisome.

Why they chose this property

We decided to buy a home that our young family would enjoy. While we love the beaches we also love to stay active with activities like kayaking and paddle boarding on the sounds so it was a no brainer that we wanted to own a home in the laid back neighborhood of Colington. Finding a home that was canal front was a priority to enjoy not only the close proximity to the salty ocean vibes, but also the calmness that comes with the canal. This neighborhood if family friendly and low key just so that you can enjoy all the amenities close by of fantastic seafood, shops and nightlife, but also slow down at the end of the day for some relaxation.

What makes this property unique

We love your canal front home for the ease of throwing in a fishing line or crab pot or even jumping in a kayak or paddle board to explore the canal. We have made this home comfortable to enjoy at all ages and a home away from home vibe.
