Enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly home. The kitchen and dining are was nice and the bedrooms were lovely. Bathrooms were great. Backyard was very peaceful.

Having grown up in the Shawnee area, this location has always been one of our favorites. My husband and I have spent countless summer days at Shawnee Mission Park—from renting kayaks on the lake to visiting the dog park and, of course, enjoying some of Kansas City’s best BBQ nearby.

The surrounding trails are also a standout feature of the area. They’re well-maintained, scenic, and perfect for walking, running, or biking—we’ve personally spent many miles training for a half marathon on these paths.

It’s a great mix of outdoor recreation, local flavor, and convenience, all just minutes from the home.

This home is located in a great, established neighborhood known for its friendly, welcoming community and beautiful mature trees that add character and charm throughout the area. You’ll find everyday conveniences just minutes away, including grocery stores, shops, and local favorites.

For a larger dining and shopping experience, be sure to visit the Legends area, a popular destination with a wide variety of restaurants, retail, and entertainment options—all just a short drive away.

As a Kansas City native, it’s been exciting to see the area grow over the years, and this location offers a perfect blend of local charm and modern convenience.

This home offers the perfect balance of being close to the energy of Kansas City while still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood where you can relax and get a great night’s sleep before another full day of activities.

We take pride in the outdoor space—if you enjoy a peaceful setting, you’ll notice the landscaping and plants throughout the yard, many of which are in full bloom during June and July, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

This setup comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

We will remain nearby (approximately 15 minutes away) and are readily available if you need anything during your stay. If you’re traveling with children, we’re happy to provide highchairs or other family-friendly items upon request.

The backyard is fully enclosed with a solid fence, offering a safe and secure space for your dog to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors.

We’ve put a lot of care into preparing this home and hope you have a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable stay.
