Sarah & Manu are great hosts. They respond to any inquires on timely manner.
The location is great. Walking distance to all important sites. The unit is clean and tidy in an attic with slanted roof line, so watch the head for tall people.
It’s NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issue specially to climb the stairs or with large heavy suitcase. It’s on the 3rd floor without elevator.
We had problem to get to the location due to wine festival was happening and roads were closed. We were not familiar with European’s very narrow streets and not sure if the car should even enter the blockage or driving on certain alleys. Then we had difficulty to find the parking. Personally, I think a plain 2D Google map will help better than aerial map of rooftops and treetops due to different perspectives. The aerial view showed where the parking is, but it would be nice to show the relationship to the unit, so there is a reference point. Then we didn’t know if there were hallway light, so we walked on the greyish stairs with flashlight. Not till later we had figure out the switch at inside the front door which is same at all units were not doorbells to residents but to turn on the hallway light. After all frustration settled, we were happy to stay there. Now we know all the bells and whistles and appreciate the hosts' hospitality and its location; we would definitely stay there again.
